Bopara played in England's first one-day series win in Sri Lanka
England all-rounder Ravi Bopara has laughed off his crash during a demonstration of off-road driving on farmland near Brands Hatch in Kent.
The 22-year-old, who is in England's squad for December's Test series in Sri Lanka, suffered minor cuts to his right arm when his 4x4 vehicle overturned.
An ambulance was called after Bopara, under the supervision of an experienced demonstrator driver, lost control.
But Bopara said: "I get more cuts and bruises diving round the outfield."
The vehicle, a Volkswagen Touareg, came to rest on its side with the window smashed but Bopara, his instructor George Lowsley-Williams and Professional Cricketers' Association representative Lucy Cooke were able to climb out.
Williams said: "Ravi was driving in a field and just caught an edge on a soft patch of ground which brought the car over on its side.
"But we were going very slowly so it didn't cause the car to do any more than flip over in slow motion.
"There was never any danger to either myself or Ravi."
Bopara's Essex and England team-mate, Alistair Cook, was also taking part on the drive but he was in another car and was not involved
