Zee TV's popular show "Tashan-E-Ishq" has roped in Shritama Mukherjee of "Kalash" fame as the new lead in the show.
Shritama, who was last seen in "Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan" before she was replaced by Asha Negi, will be seen playing the role of Mahi, the younger sister of Twinkle (Jasmin Bhasin).
Unlike the bubbly and fearless Twinkle, Mahi is a kind and demure girl, who will be seen returning from London.
"The show will get a fresh flavour with the entry of yet another lead character. Mahi will be the complete opposite of Twinkle, and will be a diffident and vulnerable girl. Her love story will provide more spice to the proceedings," a source told Telly Chakkar.
Interestingly, Yuvraj aka Zain Imam, who has been away from the show for quite some time now, will be making a comeback.
Yuvraj, a flamboyant and passionate man, will also be seen returning from London. He will shock his family members by revealing that he and Mahi met in London and that they have been in a relationship for a long time.
"Yuvraj and Mahi would have fallen in love in London. And this news will come in as a shock to one and all," the source added.
Confirming the news, Shritama told the web-portal: "Yes, I will be entering as the new lead in Tashan-E-Ishq. However, I am busy shooting, will have to call you later."
