I saw Woolmer count coils of dollars'

kINGSTON: There's yet another twist to the Bob Woolmer murder mystery. A janitor testifying in a court in Kingston, Jamaica, on Tuesday said she saw Woolmer count "coils of US dollars" in the presence of another man inside a closed area of a dressing room at Sabina Park.

"Woolmer was checking it (the money) and putting it away in a big bag, similar to bags carried by the cricketers. The money was in a thick coil. I saw a lot of coils of money on the table," Patricia Baker-Sinclair, a senior superintendent working with Manpower Maintenance Services told the coroner's inquest.

Baker-Sinclair said she did not know the man who was inside the room alone with Woolmer but that "the person was an Indian". She didn't explain how she came to that conclusion.

According to her, the incident happened on March 12, six days before the coach was found unconscious in his hotel room after Pakistan were knocked out of the World Cup 2007 following a defeat against Ireland. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital shortly after. Match-fixing was one of the many theories that had cropped up then.

According to the Kingston-based newspaper, Jamaica Gleaner , the janitor also said that the door to the dressing room was closed and she was allowed in after being asked to identify herself. Sinclair said as she replaced the dressing room toiletries, the men exchanged words, but they spoke in a language unknown to her.

if this is getting at bob match fixing then you can all forget it, bob would never do that, a man who worked so hard with pakistan and took them to great heights would never fix a match. As if. And all this is coming from india times, surprise surprise guys

i don't believe any of this...like farah said he would never do such a thing...
how come this lady said this now...why not back in march...i still believe he died of natural causes

i totally agree with farah and mango.. indian media has always been against pak .. its so irritating coz our media never pay attention to anything they do...

This is just a new story for india times, one that will actuall sell the papers, but why don't they gvather hard facts to show 'if' this is true, which btw i dnt think is true

xactly what else? pick on a dead man thats what...

Actually, these hearing which r going on now dont really matter...!Its just being carried out by Jamaican court itself....It is actually interrogating the security ppl and the hotel management and asking them for clarification about y this case was mismanaged that time...one pathologist said that somebuddy killed Bob....other 3 said that he died of an heart attack and then Scotland Yard lab confirmed it as natural death.So the Jamaican court has called for all ppl responsible for this mismanagement...and that y did the 1st pathologist said it was not a natural death n everything.So the 1st pathologist is trying to defend himself by bringing up these stories n these ppl!

The final conclusion that matters is the one which has already come out way back...which said that Woolmer died of natural causes.
