Will he, won't he?

Shahid Kapoor kept everyone guessing if he was doing or opting out of Vikramaditya Motwane's urban thriller, AK Vs SK. We now hear he has finally committed to the film. He begins shooting for Motwane, post Rangoon.

Apparently, his look for AK Vs SK look was similar to that of Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon and had to be changed completely. So the team of writers worked on it and gave him something completely different.

Previously rumours suggested that it was the Shandaar debacle that made Shahid quit the project. Shahid allegedly was in two minds about AK vs SK from the start but Madhu Mantena managed to change his mind. But after Shaandaars flop show, he is taking each step with much caution. He doesn't want to do risky films at all. He called up Madhu and reasoned that there isn't much for him to do in the film anyway and so, he would rather not do it. Naturally, Madhu was zapped and immediately held a meeting with Shahid to convince him. But the actor had firmly made up his mind against it. He chose a vacation with his wife over the film for which he even shot for a day. Just for your memory, Mantena is the same person who had coaxed him to do Shaandaar!

Apparently, the story of AK vs SK revolves around a star and how he achieves his stardom. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is playing AK in the film while Shahid plays SK.
