Chapter 2
Ishita was sitting in her room upset, she was upset because today she didn't get the job for which she had dream everyday. She was almost near to get goal but she didn't able to achieve it.
"Ishu kanna, please don't get upset. Come and have your dinner." Madhvi said politely while caressing her hair with love.
"I'm not hungry. Please leave me alone." She said.
"... But Ishu..." Madhvi was going to say something but Ishita said irritably, "Amma please!! If you don't go then I will leave." She was going to get off from the bed but Madhvi stopped her saying, "Okay fine."
Madhvi walked out from the room where she collide with Mr. Iyer who was hearing their conversation, "Don't worry. I will talk with her." She nodded.
After a while later, Ishita heard a knock on the door, she turned and found Mr. Iyer was standing with the dinner, "Appa!! I am not hungry."
"I know you aren't. And it's not for you.." He said while walking in the room, "Appa please..."
But Mr. Iyer ignore him and placed the plate on the table, then he went to her, he lovingly caressed her head, when she looked at him with tears in her eyes, "I.. I am sorry appa. I broke all yours dreams, I..."
But she was cut by him, "Ishu.. You remember when you were in 9th standard, you got less number in Mathematics and I told you something on that day."
Ishita silently heard him and remembered, "Yes." She shook her head, "You told me.."
"I told you to never lose hope. If you ever fall down, get up with new achieve, with new hopes. You are no less than anyone. You are my strong Ishu!!" Ishita looked at him puzzled, yes!! How can she lose hope so easily? "Then what happen today? Be strong Ishu!! It happens. So what they denied, try somewhere else. May be something better is store for you in future."
"Yes Appa, you are right. I will try somewhere else." Ishita said relaxed.
"Good!! Now have your dinner."

Next morning, Ishita was sitting idle in home, she had nothing to do when Mr. Iyer walked out from his room, holding a paper in his hand.
"Ishu, I have a news for you."
"What happen Appa?" She asked.
"See!!" He said forwarding the paper to her, "There is a interview in that company. You should try here. Who knows!! They will sign you." He suggested.
"Yes Appa. I will go." Saying this she note down the address and walked in to change.

Ishita was sitting in the office, she was so nervous that she was biting her nails tensely. "Miss. Ishita Iyer." A girl called.
"Yes."
"Boss is calling you inside!!"
Ishita shook her head and headed to the door, she slightly opened the door and peeped in, "May I come in sir?"
Ishita didn't get any answer from him, she looked at the way where he was sitting, he was sitting there showing his back to her that she couldn't see his face. "Sir??" She called again. That time he indicate her to walk in.
"Sir.. I am Ishita I..." But she was cut by his words, "Talk less. Work much!! Your agreement letter is lying on the desk, sign them." He sternly said.
"Khadoos!!" That's all she could utter at that time.
"Did you say something?" She heard him asking.
"No. No. Sir." She gathered courage to say, she quickly signed the papers. "Then sir, can I join from tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow? Why? It's not your house that things will work according to you. Get back to work right now!!" He strictly said.
"Okay sir!!" Ishita quickly left from his cabin before getting scold more.
Ishita walked out from his cabin and cursed him for being so rude, she looked all around and didn't get what to do!! She was new here, so didn't know anything when suddenly a lady came to her and asked, "Are you Ishita?"
"Yes."
"Come!!" The lady said and Ishita followed her, they went to a desk, "It's your desk and this is your computer and..." Saying this the lady kept a bundle of files on the desk.
"What is this?" Ishita asked confuse.
"Check the files properly. Sir, ask you to finish it within 15minutes." The lady said.
"Only 15 minutes?" She made a face.
"Don't waste your time. Hurry up!!" The lady said and left.
Ishita sat back on her chair and goes through the files, there isn't nothing interesting to check but still she has to do it as per his boss's order. While checking a file, Ishita found some fault, she thought : I think I should inform it to sir.
Saying this, she was going to leave but someone asked her to complete the presentation as she has to leave in some emergency purpose. Ishita complete it and went in her boss's cabin.
"May I come in sir?" She peeped. But once again she found him facing his back.
"Come!!"
"Sir!! I have made this presentation, please check it." She said while forwarding the file, he took the file and read, Ishita stood there silently when suddenly she felt a jerk as her boss threw the file on her face yelling, "Are you going to present it to the clients tomorrow? Have you seen what you have made? Take them and get lost." He stood up from his chair and turned at her, at the same time Ishita bend to collect the files.
After collecting them, she stood up and they looked at each other, "YOU??" They said in unison.
"What are you doing here?" Ishita asked shock.
"What the hell!! It's my company. The RKB company."
"What? How can it possible? I mean.. I went to a company there I found you, I thought that was your company and now here you are again..." She said completely confuse.
"Hello!! What are you talking!! I don't get you." He said pissed.
"Okay!! Let me tell you, I found you in.. In some AR company, I went there for interview..."
"That was my friend's company." He replied.
"Oh!!"
"Now if your confusions are cleared, then go back to your work!!" He firmly said showing her the way.
"Work? Which work?" She asked while crossing her arms on her chest, "I won't work with you. It will be great if I die instead of working with you."
"Really?" Raman asked sarcastically.
"Yes. Wait.. You won't believe me right? Wait..." Saying this she started searching some papers and found a blank paper was lying on the table, she grabbed it and wrote something then forward it to Raman who was calmly standing there.
"Take this!!" She said.
"What's this?"
"My resignation letter." She said sternly, "Sign them. I won't work with you."
Raman snatched the paper and read it with the smirk on his face, "Well.. I would have sign it but..."
"What?" She asked with a rage as Raman's calm behavior was irritating her more than anything.
"Calm down Ms.!! Whatever your name is... By the way as far I remember you didn't read the agreement letter, isn't? Okay!! I am giving you the file, read them very carefully." Raman said and threw the file on her side, she glared at him and took the file, she went through the clause very carefully when her eyes fall on something, she read it when Raman continued, "According to the clause, you can't leave the company before completing six months, and if you still want to then pay back to the company at least your salary amount." Ishita glared at him when Raman leaned back on the chair and kept his both leg on the table, "So that mean, pay back 30,000, and you will be free." He smirked.
Ishita stood there silently, "Shocked? Have a sit and have some water." He passed the glass
"Listen Mr. Raman!! You can't do this to me." She said while leaning to the table little, she looked into his eyes with a rage, Raman too came little close to her face and said, "Wow!! You remembered my name. Interesting!!"
"Interesting my foot!!" She stomped her feet on the floor.
"Listen Ms.!!" He paused and looked at the file where her name written, "Ms. Ishita.. Ishita Iyer!! So, Ishita, see!! As you said it was your first interview, so I don't think you have enough money to repay and even I don't think you are that type of girl who will ask her father for money. So, work here only six months!! See when you had already bear me six hours, then six months will go easily. What say?" He smirked at her. "See!! Take a sit and think, I am giving you five minutes, though my time is much precious than you but still I will waste it on you."
Ishita looked at him with disgust, she knew it won't be good if she left the job right here, she can't repay the amount and moreover her family needs money, though they never showed it or told her about it but being their daughter, she knew, she sighed, "Only six months right?"
He smirked saying, "You took immediate decision just like me." He winked.
"Shut up!! Just tell me what I asked. I know you are taking revenge from me as I filed case against you..."
"I must say, you are very intelligent!! And yes it's only six months." He replied.
"Fine!!"
"Fine too!!" He smirked.
Ishita stomped her feet and was going to leave when she bumped into Mihir at the door, she turned at Raman who had the same smirk on his face, she said aloud to Mihir, "MOVE!!" She almost pushed him and went out.
"Bhai isn't the same girl whom we met yesterday?" Mihir asked.
"Oho!! You have strong memory!!" He chuckled.
"What is she doing here?" Mihir asked.
"Our new employee!!" Raman replied with a smirk.
"I guess, you are up to something." Mihir said suspiciously.
"No. Nothing like that. Don't take much stress Mihir. Get back to your work." He replied sternly.
It was about one hour they talked, Ishita worked when she saw a file where she need his sign, "Not again!!" She sat holding her head but she need to go, so she headed towards his cabin.
Ishita barged in his cabin without knocking, "Excuse me!!" But Raman didn't bother to reply.
"Hello!! I am talking with you." She knocked on the desk with her nails.
"Excuse me!!" Raman looked up at her.
"Are you deaf? Can't you hear I am calling you?" She rolled her eyes.
"How can I get as you didn't mention anything like ' SIR ', you used 'Excuse me' 'Hello ' and all..."
"Sir??" She laughed, "In your dreams only. Anyway!! I need your sign here."
"You will call me sir today itself." He said with grin.
"Really!! Let's see!!" She rolled her eyes.
"Are you challenging me?" Raman asked sarcastically.
"I won't mind, if you think so..."
"Fine. Then if I win, you will do which I will ask you." Raman said in a challenging way.
"... And if I win, you will do which I ask."
"Done!!" He smirked and signed the papers. Ishita rolled her eyes and was going to leave when she was near to the door, Raman called her, "Ishita!!"
For a moment, Ishita's heart skipped, she turned at him with a calm eyes when Raman said, "Close the door before leaving!!"
Her expression changed, she faked a smile with reply, "Of course!!" She walked out slamming the door, Raman smirked seeing her irritating.
