Guys, as far as I can remember, Shanti's husband died young. Raghav took care of his mom and Sarla and built Shanti Sadan from his own hard earned money.

So how come Sarla was calling Shanti sadan their "pushtaini" (meaning ancestral) property? How come she said she must get half share in the treasure, else she will go to court?

Right to treasure ? She behaves as if she has a right over everything n evryone in mughalsarai. Stupid woman behaves like an overly-pampered 4 year old ! The way she was running all over the place holding that pot today, i just wanted someone to step up n give ger a nice tight slap that would knock her out for a good 3 days. I cant stand that stupid woman.

firstly she feels she owns her brother's property...here she tells her daughter to gets things for something in return, whereas she states her right on everything in shanti sadan. She behaves like everything belongs to her, even above Raghav's own childrens, and Raghav is responsible for it.
but the main thing is, that they twist the plot to suit the current track. As u said, earlier the house was supposedly built by Raghav and now it has become a pushtaini jaydaad.

yeah, raghav built this shanti sadan for his mom. its not any ancestral property and i don't think she has a right on it. plus, the authority of the house is under ria's control, so i think she should decide what's right and what's wrong.
