Amma left Sam and her family alone, walking out with Lasya, Amma handed her, her keys Lasya was mesmerized.
"I am unable to feed her" II cried
Sam hugged her
"U are chooo chweeet" Sam whispered
"I am serious" II groaned
"wait a week, u will be leaking and squirting all over" "Not to mention smelling like spoiled milk and sweat" Sam smiled gleefully as II made a face
"Can I hold her?" she asked
II handed her
"Tumne kabhi yeh socha, jab tum mere baby shower mein aayi, that u will be the mother to his child?"
II blushed... "No" she mumbled
"Can u believe it? U didnt even know the other person existed, and now u are so bound to us all" Sam sighed
"He told me so much about her outside, mujhe laga KYA aur KAISI hogi yeh bachi" Sam said in awe
"He did?" II asked stunned
"OMG, he described every inch of her... every expression, every sigh.. its like cant believ he created a human so perfect"

"Main usko keh deti hoon, aur isko lekar jaati hoon bahar tum dono lad lena" Sam said stepping back

"Mujhe pakadne do... u have to hold her when u feed her, baaqi time yeh hamari" Sam said

"Mera phone uthao waha se aur mera video lo, Manya ko bhejoongi" Sam said gleefully

"To?" "she can come and hold her too"
"Main kab hold karoongi?" II asked
"Jab yeh 25 saal ki ho jaaye" Sam said kissing the soft fat cheeks
"Dad kidhar hain?" II asked
"Hes been to see her like SIX times" Sam gushed
"Appa bhi?" she asked

"they were fighting over WHERE u shud go" sam whispered
"Bahut ladai?" Ii asked
"Dont stress urself, if they insist too much, TUM chali jao, ISKO main rakhti hoon" Sam said cuddling the baby
The nurse came in to check vitals, asked her if it was OK to bring food
A giant cart was wheeled in with fancy foods
Cool, warm hot... II stomach rumbled in hunger
Sam held the tyke as II ate peacefully, after a trip to the bathroom with the nurse's help and brushing of teeth
Nivi began to cry half way through
Sam and II struggled to get her to begn feeding
Around 9 ish Amma brought a crying Lasya, and Ranjan peeked
II smiled, as she sat up, looking for the TV remote
She held Nivi in her arms
"dadd" she whispered
"Betaji, dekhiye to kisko laya main saath" he said, he had his arm around Appa's shoulder
Appa stood frozen his eyes glistening, his veshti crumpled from sitting all day
"Waise baari meri haigi Iyer saab but tuannu allow karanga" he said
Appa chuckled cynically... "she is an Iyer first"
"Hamey jee last name se waasta haiga last tey.. Bhalla hai" he fought cheerfully

"where are thathas kekara" II gushed handing him the baby (Where are my grandpas)
"Romba shaantama ruppa pola irukke" Appa said in awe (she looks so calm and composed)
"Shes a very composed girl" Appa smiled
"R&B par gayi hogi, hamari gudiya to chup nahi hondi" Ranjan said
Ranjan tried to grab as Appa stepped to the side
They kept doing that until they circled the bed

"Neelakantan Mama solra, ivalukku Ministry la Office of Special Dusty la oru position create pannidalam"
Neekantan was the Secretary of Industry, Appa's close friend, and he had expressed a desire for lil Nivi to become a bureaucrat.
Ranjan's arms shook, he sat down weakly walking over to the plush sofas
