Two days before the wedding Shagun called Raman and asked him to meet her as she wanted to talk to him urgently. He felt at least now they could solve their issues if any, which Shagun had which changed her behaviour.
They met in a coffee shop and Shagun said "I'm sorry Raman"
"Sorry for what Shagun?" asked Raman confused.
"For not loving you. For loving someone else"
"Shagun what are you saying? Please stop joking with me now" said Raman on the verge of crying.
"Raman I'm sorry. But I can't take this anymore. We were just friends Raman. You were always my friend. I never loved you in a different way other than a best friend. But I found my love in Ashok. When I went to London last month I met him there. He's the biggest fashion designer there. Ashok Khanna. He has established a very good name there even by being an Indian and not a British. We met there when I went there for the show Raman. We fell in love. I wanted to tell you. But then you proposed me infront of all. I couldn't understand what to do. Then I thought of telling mom. But she was so happy with our marraige. I made up my mind to move on with you. But I realised that my life is with Ashok. Please forgive me Raman and let me go to him"
Raman felt his world shattered into pieces. But he felt that Shagun is not wrong too. He misinterpreted everything. He with great strength controlled his tears from falling down and said "Shagun your happiness is my happiness. If you love Ashok you can go to him. I'm sorry I misinterpreted everything and put you in such a situation. You go to your love. I'll handle our parents"
"Thanks Raman for understanding me. Bye. I hope you'll find your true love soon as well"
"Bye Shagun"
"After Shagun went away Raman couldn't control his tears. He felt that someone teared his heart into pieces. He was shattered but knew that his family will be shocked with this news so he need to handle them too. So he went to them and told them that Shagun and him talked and decided to cancel their marraige. His family was shocked that Mrs. Bhalla got sick too.
The Arora family blamed Raman for everything and broke ties with the two families. Unable to take the situation Raman broke down infront of his family and told them the real reason to which the family supported him.

"It was all my family's support that brought me out of it. Ishitha it's all my fault. I did the mistake. I put her into such a situation"
"No Raman. Its not your mistake. Please don't think like that. Be strong always"
"Ishitha eventhough she left me I always felt she will return to me one day. So I always kept her place in my heart open for her. I didn't want anyone to take her place in my life. I felt only she had that right. When you didn't reject to marry me and when we got married I felt you're trying to snatch that place away. I felt so envied with you. That's why I hurt you always. I'm really sorry Ishitha. I'm sorry"
Raman was being honest as he didn't want to hide anything from her anymore. But he was unaware of what these words were doing to Ishitha. But Ishitha knew that she shouldn't think about herself now so she wanted to support him get over his past. But she asked him "Do you still love her?"
Raman looked at her and they shared an emotional eye lock. Then Raman said "Since we were small I planned my life with her. In everything she was there. But Ishitha now it's different. Now it's you. Your my wife. Now your my everything. Now I can't live without you. Now there's no Shagun in my life. My heart shouts only one name. Ishitha"
Ishitha smiled broadly listening to this. She was so happy at least Raman has a place in his heart for her.
"Ishitha I want to have a fresh start. A new beginning where we'll be happy. Will you help me and be with me forever?" asked Raman forwarding his hand for her.
Ishitha too held his hand and said "I will"
"So shall we go? To our home"
"Ok"
And they went to their home to start a new chapter in their lives. On the way both were silent.
Raman thinks "Ishitha I want to confess my love to you too. But not today. I'll make that day the most beautiful day in your life. That day I'll make you mine forever in all senses"
Ishitha thinks "I felt so happy that Raman shared his past with me. I felt so sad also. I feel scared also. So much emotions will kill me soon. I'll talk to Mihika. At least I'll feel better"
"Ishitha we reached home"
"Oh. Let's go in"
"Ishitha you won't leave me ever nuh"
"Raman what are you asking? Why would I leave you?"
"I don't know" said Raman looking down.
Ishitha took his hand and said "I will not go anywhere leaving you. I promise"
"Thank you" said Raman with tears in his eyes.
They went inside holding hands making Mr.&Mrs.Bhalla very happy.
"Oh you both came. Freshen up and come soon let's have dinner" said Thoshi happily.
After dinner they settled in their rooms. Ishitha was about to go to the couch when Raman came to her and said "In this new start of ours we'll sleep together in the bed. You will not sleep in the couch anymore. I'm very sorry for my behaviour so far"
"It's alright Raman. But in bed?"
"Why don't you trust your husband?" asked Raman naughtily.
"Raman..."
"Ok ok let's go to sleep. I'm very sleepy"
"Ok"
They slept in the bed so happy to start a new life. Raman slept soon as he was tired. But Ishitha was staring at Raman lost in her thought. Her mind constantly went to Raman's words.
Eventhough she left me I felt she will return to me one day"
"Murugan I'm feeling so restless. Will she really come back to our lives. Will she snatch away my Raman from me" and she fell asleep tired of her thoughts.
The next morning Raman woke up to see Ishitha's place of the bed empty. He looked up and was lost to see Ishitha getting ready near the dressing table. She has worn a dark pink saree with silver blouse, she has wore her mangalsutra, a pinch of sindoor in her partition a small bindi in her forehead and she was looking angelic. Ishitha turned around and saw him lost in her and blushed.
"Raman what happened?"
"Ahhh...nothing"
"Ok. Good morning"
"Good morning"
"Get ready soon and come for breakfast. And I'm not coming for office today also"
"Why? Are you not feeling well still?" asked Raman concerned.
"Nothing like that Raman. I just need to meet my friend Mihika. I'm going to her place"
"Oh ok"
After breakfast Raman went to office while Ishitha went to Mihika's place after having a chat with Mrs. Bhalla.
"Ishu..."shouted Mihika excited.
"How are you?"
"I'm good"
"Good to know"
"So how are you?"
''I'm fine too"
Mihika understood that something is wrong so she said "Ishu tell me what's wrong?"
"Nothing's wrong Mihiku. But I wanted to talk to you"
"Tell Ishu"
And Ishitha told her everything and also told her about the words of Raman which is disturbing her always. Mihika understood the turmoil in which Ishitha is. For a moment even she didn't know how to answer Ishitha. She at first felt angry with Raman for hurting Ishitha with the hope of a return of another woman. But she knew that now as this couple is about to start a new beginning in their lives she should help Ishitha to put away her fear and move on happily with Raman.
"Ishu she lives in London. And her husband is a well established man in London they won't return here again. And you said that as thoshi Aunty told you in the morning Raman and shagun never met each other after that. So please stop this fear and move on with him Ishu. You love him right? Now make your lives full of love"
Ishitha felt that Mihika is right and felt that she should move on with Raman happily keeping away her fears. "Your right Mihiku. I love him a lot. Hereafter our lives will be full of love. We will move on happily"
"That's like my Ishu" and they shared an emotional hug.
"Ishu I always want you to be happy. You always think about others and their happiness but never yours. Now I know Raman loves you a lot. He will confess his love to you very soon. I'm sure"
"This made Ishitha blush a lot. "Oh ho. Meri Ishu. Your blushing"
"Ok ok. Come let's have something. Talking talking don't you want to have anything to eat"
"Ok let's have something. I'm also hungry now"
Ishitha went home that day to start a new life happily. She made all Raman's favourite dishes.
"Arey wah. You look so happy today. All Raman's favourite dishes. Anything special?" asked Thoshi.
"Nothing mummy ji. I just made it for him" said Ishitha blushing.
During dinner Raman for the first time praised Ishitha's food.
"Hmm food is so tasty"
"My Ishitha's food is always tasty" said Thoshi proudly.
"Maa she's my wife first then your bahu. Don't go so high"
"Really puttar. Remember one thing. If not for me you won't get her. Understood"
"Haan Haan understood" said Raman understanding his own madness.
