RanKat break-up: Not Salman or Deepika, is Alia Bhatt the reason

Lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have reportedly ended their relationship because of their irreconcilable differences. Ranbir and Katrina's dating rounds started doing the rounds when they started shooting for the 2009 film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

The couple was in a relationship from last six years and now it seems that the two have parted their ways. According to reports, it's said that their respective ex-flames have a role to play in their break-up.

The grapevine has it that Ranbir's proximity with Deepika Padukone was the final nail in the coffin for Ranbir and Katrina's already-tumultuous relationship. Then there were reports of Katrina's ex-boyfriend Salman Khan being the reason of RanKat's break-up. It was said that Ranbir couldn't go well with the fact that Katrina promised the makers of Salman Khan's reality TV show Bigg Boss 9 to promote her upcoming film Fitoor.

Now, the most shocking of them all rumours is that Alia Bhatt is probably the reason behind the big Bollywood breakup. According to a report in Spotboye.com, "The split story began at Imtiaz Ali's Andheri residence, few months ago. To celebrate an indie project that he supports, Imtiaz had invited his close pals from the industry including Ranbir, Kat and Alia."

The report further stated that "Katrina Kaif felt that her boyfriend's fondness for Alia went a little over-the-top in that party. So, she confronted him when they reached home but Ranbir dismissed it off."

"Kat's insecurity intensified so much that she even started hoping that her good friend Ayan Mukerji (director) will drop Alia from his upcoming superhero project which stars Ranbir and Alia in lead roles," reports the website.

The gossip mills are abuzz with different kind of stories of their breakup, but Ranbir and Katrina haven't officially confirmed it yet.
