The clock stuck 5 and still sleep was far away from manik.. he looked at his lady love.. his life.. his wife..nandini.. Nandini Manik Malhotra who was sleeping snuggling close to him hugging him tightly. He leaned down and kissed her forehead her eyes her cute little nose her hairs and pecked her lips for the nth time. She smiled a little feeling his touch even in her deep sleep and he smiled seeing her face glowing. He hugged her tightly and finally dozed of unknowingly admiring her.
8AM - Malhotra Mansion
Manan were sleeping peacefully in each others arms and the first one to wake up was manik because he felt her moving in his tight embrace.
"baby kya hua..?" he asked still his eyes closed
"pata nai manik.. im feeling something weird.." she complained with a cute annoyed pout. He opened his eyes to look at her and the naughty manik mode was on. He pulled her completely over himself and said after pecking her pout "I know the reason of your something weird feeling.. bataun..?" he asked tucking the few strands of her hair which were disturbing his view and she signalled him to continue "I think this is because of last night.." and winked looking at her and she blushed hard and slapped his arm and said "subah subah shuru ho gayae tum.. besharam..!" and hid her face in his neck to hide her blush and he laughed a little and said "tell me one thing..?" and she raised her head to look at him and gestured him to continue "I troubled u a lot na last night.. r u feeling tired..? im sor.." and was cut in between by nandini "khabardaar jo sorry bola toh..! hato.. chodo.. leave me..!!" and tried to move out of his arms but he realised his mistake and tightened his grip around her waist and immediately surrendered "acha baba.. sorry nai bolunga.. okay..? now smile.." she just hmm'ed in response and an idea clicked his mind and within a blink of eye he flipped their positions and pinned her under him and said nuzzling his face in her neck nibbling her earlobe "maaf kar do na..please..." he whispered in her ear huskily and she was lost in the intensity of his voice and his sweet tortures on her neck. She didn't say anything.. how could she.. he saw her face.. eyes closed tightly.. cheeks flushed.. and breaths raged.. he smirked seeing his effect on her and started dropping wet kisses on her shoulder and moved towards her neck.
"ma..mani..." she moaned his name softly clutching the bedsheet tightly not able to bare his tortures more and that was it for him.. he fused his lips with hers for a passionate morning kiss. He kissed her madly deeply and poured all his love towards her in that kiss. She responded with equal fevor. After feeling her out of breath he broke the kiss and joined his forehead with hers. Both were breathing heavily with their eyes closed and a smile playing on their lips. Manik opened his eyes and pecked her lips once more and mumbled an "I Love You.."on her lips and she returned the favour by kissing his cheek. Manik was about to take her lips for another kiss when a knock on their door interrupted their sweet morning. Manik got up irritatingly and cursed the one who disturbed them early in the morning, he wore his tracks and got down the bed to open the door meanwhile nandini wore his shirt which was lying near by. The moment manik opened the door his frowns increased two folds seeing them standing with some plates and boxes in their hands. They pushed him aside and entered the room with a very loud "goood morning jaan..!"
She smiled looking at them and said "very very good morning everyone.." the all settled around her on the bed and manik asked or yelled " what the hell r u all doing here..??" they ignored him and cabir forwarded a very big glass of milk to nandini and said "common drink it.. no even a single word more.. chalo fast.. there are soo many other things to do.. tumhara yae pati ek number ka bewakoof hai.. isae toh 24*7 sirf romance kae alawa kuch nahi aata.. tu dod pee jaldi sae.." and pushed the glass into her mouth she tried to protest but was in vain as cabir declared that he was not going to let her put the glass down until it is empty. She sighed in relief after finishing it and made a really bad face when aliya jumped into action. She opened a box which had almost every type of dry fruits and said placing it in her hand "eat all of them.. haan sarae abhi hi nahi.. but atleast 4 of each variety.. they r very good for ur health.." nandini looked at manik for help and he shrugged his shoulders as they were not even listening to him but were busy with their own work's. mukthi moved to their cupboard and selected a jeans and a loose baby pink top for nandini and said showing it to her "this is ok na..?" nandini nodded a yes munching almonds. "baby u slept for 7 hours na..?" abhi had to clear his doubts then and there itself. He looked at nandini for an answer who blushed to the deepest shade of red and was looking here and there and manik silently moved to the door of the room to run away as he would b the next target but was stopped by a tiny little pair of arms hugging his legs. He immediately recognised who it was and turnrd around and picked her in his arms and said "mera baby uth gaya.." to which she nodded a yes and hugged him tightly and closed her eyes sleeply. Manik understood that she needed more sleep and looked at navya and said in a loud whisper after standing beside her "apni beti ko bhi subha subha utha kae lakae aa gayae... meri princess ko sonae nahi diya.. kaisae maa baap ho tum dono..?" and shot a glare to cabir and kissed her hairs as she was asleep by then.
"bada aaya mujhae sikanae wala... apni ladli ko suna job hi sunana hai.. mai nae bola tha maa beti ko ki ghar mae rahae kae liyae.. meri kaun suntha hai.. tumhari yeh princess tumhara naam suntae hi uth gayi aur zid kar rahi thi ki "mama kae paas jana hai.."" cabir mimicked his daughters voice and continued "mai kya kartha laekae aa gaya.. huh..!" and shifted his focus to nandini who was silently closing the lid of the dry fruits box. Navya stood up and took cavya ( their daughter ) from maniks arms and said "bhai.. aapko pata hai na how much she loves you.. isi liyae lakae aa gayae socha tha ek baar aapko dekh legi toh zid nai karaegi..u know na how stubborn she is.." and carefully placed her on the bed beside nandini.
"yae lo.. fresh fruits.." dhruv came into the room with a plate of fruits cut into pieces and placed in nandini's lap. She pushed away the plate and said "yae sab kya hai.. abhi dood piya.. phir dry fruits.. aur ab fruits.. ek din mai beach ball bana do gae tum sab log mujhae.." she said in a loud tone not so loud that would wake up cavya. But her pleas and shouts went to deaf ears as dhruv came and pushed a piece of apple in her mouth and when to tried to spit it out one glare from abhi and she slowly started munching it making faces.
" im waiting for an answer nandu..." abhi asked again and she frowned and raised her eyebrow asking what as she totally forgot about it. Mukthi aliya and navya giggled but immediately stopped seeing abhi serious.
"did u sleep properly last night..?" he was back on his point and nandini nodded a yes. Manik came and stood beside mukthi and said in her ears "tera pati itna khadoos kyu hai..?" she giggled and said "kyun ki vo apni behan sae bohath pyar kartha hai" manik rolled his eyes and went straight to the bed and lied on other side of nandini pushing dhruv as on other side cavya was sleeping and adjusted his head in her lap. She caressed his hair and all the others present there smiled looking at the duo madly in love. Abhi looked at his watch and said "chalo now get ready.. appointment is at 10 o clock.." and got up from the chair near the bed and said "hum sab ready hai.. tum dono zyada time math laena and come down fast.. mai breakfast ki arrangements dekhtha hun.." and moved out of the room followed by others and last was cabir with cavya in his arms. He was about to step out of the room but turned around and said "nandu jo box tunae chupaya hai na apnae blanket kae neechae.. vo neechae aatae wakt lae aana.. mai nahi bhula hun uskae barae mai.." and moved out of the room. Nandini sighed in relief and manik got up and locked the room door and said "finally at peace.." and laid down beside her hiding his face in her tummy. He kissed her tummy and said "I love you.." and she smiled looking at his cute antics. After 10 minutes nandini said ruffling his hair "uthiyae Mr.Malhotra warna sab phir sae aa jayangae". He turned his face and looking at her cute baby face he replied "aur tumhara vo khadoos bhai phir sae mera class laega.." and made a cute angry pout. She bent down kissed his pout and said "kyuki he cares for me.." and an instant reply from manik was "as if I don't..!!". she couldn't win this argument as both her brother and her husband cared about her and were over possessive about her and were correct at their places. "utho manik.. we need to get ready na.. please.." nandini said running her fingers in his hair. He took her hand into his kissed her palm and replied "anything for u my jaan..!" and got up. She pulled away the blanket and was about to step down when he stopped her and said "where r u going..?" "ready honae aur kahan..?" nandini replied casually. He got up and came to her side picked her in his arms and said "now its perfect.." she knew there was no point in arguing with him and remained quite and manik had a victory smile on his face. He carried her to the washroom made her sit on the slab of the sink handed her her toothbrush and he took his. Soon the brush was done. He picked her up and made her stand under the shower and turned the shower on.
Manan came out of the washroom after 30 minutes with nandini in manik's arms wrapped in a towel totally red because of blushing continuously. He made her sit on the chair in front of the mirror and went to bring her clothes. She let him do whatever he wanted to as it was his way of expressing his love towards her. He brought the dress mukthi selected for her and made her wear it along with all other necessary things. He selected matching earings for her and tucked them in her ears after dropping a kiss. He did minimal makeup as she liked that way only and he too preferred the same. After getting ready nandini stood up picked up the sindoor box put on the table and turned around facing him and signalled him to put it in her maang. He kissed her forehead and filled sindoor . she moved to the wardrobe and selected clothes for him and handed him the same and moved down stairs ignoring his request of staying back and promised to compensate for the same.
Dining area :
"arae wah.. tum toh bahuth jaldi neechae aa gayi.." cabir said looking at his watch seeing nandini coming down
"come sit have this first.." abhi said serving her parathas in a plate and placing it in her regular place where she sits.
"bahi.. im not hungry.. first doodh.. phir fruits.. im full.." nandini said and pushed away the plate.
"bhai kahan hai..?" navya asked coming from the kitchen bringing juice for everyone followed by mukthi with sandwitches in her hand.
"nandini no more arguments.. have this jaldi jaldi and we have to leave.. I spoke to Dr.Sujhtha she has fixed the first appointment for u today.." abhi spoke in a serious tone and nandu looked at her saviour mukthi who looked away as she was already warned by abhi not to help nandini.
Nandini was eating smallest of the smallest possible pieces passing time waiting for manik and noticing this dhruv whose patience reached peak and was sitting beside her made a bigger piece of paratha and stuffed her mouth with it. Nandini's mouth was opened in a perfect O and she shot a glare at dhruv and said angrily murdering the paratha piece in her mouth "what was that.. subah bhi u kept on pushing apple into my mouth and ab yae.." sh pointed at her plate. Dhruv ignored her and focussed on his.
"aliya.. kaisae jhelthi ho tum issae..??"nandini yelled angrily looking at aliya and aliya replied with a smile "kyu ki mai tumhari tarah ziddi nahi hun..." and winked at her. Nandini was pissed now. She folded her arms across her chest and turned her face to the other side. Navya came and sat beside nandini with cavya in her lap who was half awake and was making her drink milk and she was showing tantrums for not drinking it. Nandini pulled cavya into her lap and said after making her face herself "hum dono ka condition ek hi hai baby..iss ghar mai.. koi hum dono ki nai suntha.. haina.." to which cavya nodded a yes sucking her thumb and replied "lesh(yes) mami.. shameee pinch.." and pinched her arm with her tiny little fingers. Nandini aw wed on her cuteness and kissed her madly to which the princess in her arms giggled. "I love u sooo much baccha.." nandini said tickling her and she replied laughing "mee tooo". Manik who had just come down for his breakfast smiled to his fullest watching his favourite two ladies in his life laughing and smiling.
"kya hai bhai.. humhae bhi toh koi bata do..?" he asked taking a seat opposite to nandini who still didn't recognise his presence.
"dono kae nakhrae chalu hai.. aur kya..?" cabir replied looking at his daughter and her so sweet mami.. manik looked at navya and she pointed at the half glass milk and the half paratha lying in nandini's plate and manik understood the senario.
"cavya babyyy.." manik called her lovingly and she turned her head to look at manik and manik continued " baccha apko bhi injection chahiyae kya..?" the moment cavya heard the word injection it scared the hell out of her and she horrifiedly nodded her head in a no and said "nai mamuu.. no in..in..injeshhion (injection )..pleashhh..." manik smiled and replied "agar aapki mami ki tarah aap bhi apna milk finish nahi karogae ton aap ko bhi mami kae saath injection kae liyae chalna padaega.." he said in a dramatic tone and cavya turned to navya and said "mumma.. I will drink milllk...pleashhh.. no injeshhhon..." navya placed her daughter in her lap and made her drink the milk and manik looked at nandini and said "aaisae ghoor kya rahi ho.. eat fast we r getting late.." and like finally after a lot of arguments nandini finished her breakfast and left for hospital.
In the hospital :
"nandini malhotra.." the nurse called nandini and all looked at her. The nurse made a quite weird expression looking at the number of people that came for the checkup of one single patient and asked "aap mae sae check up kiska karna hai..?" and all pointed towards nandini. "come with me.." the nurse asked looking at nandini and continued "inkae husband bhi aa jayiyae.." and manik stood up to leave with them.
The doctor took nandini for examination and manik was waiting for them in cabin impatiently tapping his foot wiping the sweat formed out of nervousness and playing with his fingers and what not. Finally after a long wait of 20 minutes nandini came along with the doctor who had a smile on her face and nandini's face was totally red.
"congratulations Mr.Malhotra.. aapki wife pregnant hai.." she said looking at manik and the world froze for him. Only the words "your wife is pregnant" was ringing in his ears. Nandini came and sat beside him and placed her hand on his and he looked at her as if asking for confirmation and she shyly nodded her head as a yes. A lone tear escaped his eyes in happiness and he immediately stood up pulling nandini along and hugged her so tightly that she found difficult to breath. After 5 good minutes he broke the hug cupped her face kissed her forehead and said "I love you.. I love you soo soo much.."
The doctor cleared her throat to make manik realise her presence and she succeeded. Manik smiled sheepishly looking at her and nandini again blushed.
"please be seated.. I have another good news.." she said smiling and manan sat in front of her with a bit confused faces, sensing this the doctor said
"Mr.Malhotra.. its not a single child.. they r twins.." the doctor finally told them and manik's happiness knew no bounds. He was on cloud nine. Not one child but two at a time. He got up from his chair and hugged the doctor and said thank u for n number of times. The doctor patted his back and said "congrats beta..!"
After manik sat back in his chair the doctor told them all the precautions regarding nandini her schedule for food and medicines and manik registered each and every word of her in his mind. And after thanking the doctor one more time they came out of her cabin to break the news to their little family. Everyone was waiting anxiously for them and as soon as manan came out looked at them for answers of their un asked questions. Manik nodded his head in a yes and all jumped on the couple hugging them tightly. The nurse who was standing nearby came and said sternly " r u kids.. stop shouting.. hospital hai yeh.. tumhara ghar nahi.." and all nodded obediently and left for malhotra mansion happily...
