Here's What Rishi Kapoor Said About the Ranbir-Katrina Split

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were in many ways the proverbial perfect couple.The two young stars had quite successfully created a buzz in B-town thanks to their crackling real-life chemistry and dashing looks.

Perhaps that is why their fans were left in a state of disbelief when the two decided to part ways recently.

Moreover, shortly thereafter, it was rumoured that Ranbir's fondness for Tamasha co-star Deepika Padukone had been responsible for the split. To make matters worse, some sources even suggested that the split was always on the cards.

When Ranbir's father and veteran actor Rishi Kapoor was asked the reason behind the split, he politely refused to answer the question and said it was not the right time to talk about it.

Interestingly, some time back, Katrina had stated that she was extremely fond of Chintuji. Moreover, she also added that the Karz actor was very kind towards her..

On the professional side of things, Ranbir-Katrina will be seen opposite eachother in Jagga Jasoos. Directed by Murder director Anurag Basu, it is expected to arrive in theatres later this year.
