There was no secret meeting between Katrina & Salman

Rumour mills were abuzz with the news of a secret meeting between Katrina Kaif and ex-boyfriend Salman Khan. The buzz was that Salman's Sultan team was meeting up in a restaurant for a bash and Katrina decided to join them. Apparently, Katrina spent some quality time chatting with Sultan director Ali Abbas and good friend Salman, after which Ali scooted from there giving the ex-lovers some privacy. The news made it to the headlines especially because it came after Katrina's alleged break up with lover boy Ranbir Kapoor. It was believed that Salman was the shoulder to cry on, for Katrina during this low phase.

However, this news has apparently upset Katrina a lot, as she issued a statement via her spokesperson. It reads, "Ali Abbas Zafar is Katrina's close friend and she attends his brithday party every year and this year was no different. Ali happens to be directing Sultan with Salman in it, which is why he was on the guest list, along with a whole bunch of other people, including Kabir Khan. There was no secret meeting between Katrina and Salman. Request people to please have some respect and not concoct stories which are untrue."
