Kapil Sharma's last episode of Comedy Nights With Kapil (CNWK), that was to air on Sunday at 10.30 pm was scrapped by Colors channel at the last moment. Instead, they are showing another episode of Comedy Nights Bachao (CNB) starring the Mastizaade team of Milap Zaveri, Sunny Leone, Vir Das, and Suresh Menon. What's even surprising is that the producers of CNWK were not kept in the loop about the development.
The channel decided to drop the last episode because of Kapil's problem with the channel. They pulled it off air at the last moment and decided to show Comedy Nights Bachao instead.
Milap tweeted their show is at 10.30 which is Kapil's time. Strangely the producer of CNWK, Preeti Simoes, wasn't even informed about the channel's decision. She had edited the last episode on Saturday when she was told by a Kapil Sharma fan on Twitter that the show wouldn't be aired. She told the fan: "Maybe a mistake nor been told if there has been some change."
A leaked video footage of the last episode of CNWK (that was to air today) is doing the rounds on social media where Kapil shares the stage with Akshay Kumar and tells him that he will continue to be in touch with former cricketer Navjot Singh Siddhu, who has been part of the show.
Sunil Grover, who plays Gutthi, is asked to sing but breaks down and "I can't sing!" As he's feeling too sad. Kapil, Sumona Chakravarti, Upasana Singh, Ali Asgar and Kiku Sharda all become emotional as they accompany Sunil onstage.k
