Next morning
Ashok wake up only to find peace in his house.its very unusual coz everyday she create a mess with his friends and he use to beat her mercilessly. But today she was nowhere.
Ashok- I think today ,they have done it .what I want.finally I am going to get what I want so badly.a heir to carry forward my name. Thank u so much Raman.u r my best friend.thinking so he move towards her room.he was about to knock but found it open.
He was amused,he get inside the room and saw her sleeping peacefully.his anger rose to an intolerance level.seeing her position he understand that Raman didn't do anything with her.he take the jug from the side table and throw the water on her face.
She woke up instantly.
Ishita- who's this,ashok aap.u r here so early morning.
Ashok grabbed her hair and said- ishita don't try to play sweet with me.just tell me did u guys did that yesterday night.
Ishita- chee ashok,what r u telling.I am ur wife.have some respect.how can u tell this to me.
Ashok slapped her and said- bandh kar apna pravachan(stop ur lecture)just answer me.did u guys do it.
Ishita was seeing a monster in him.she knows well that he will beat her mercilessly if she told the truth but she can't lie either.can't defame that gentleman who didn't touch her body but touched her soul ,sooth her soul.who make her feel like noone else ever made her felt like.
She said firmly- no he didn't even touch me.he is a gentleman who respect women unlike u.he is,
Her sentence was left incomplete coz ashok grabbed her hair in sheer fury and told her- u r such a useless woman.can't even attract a man.can't provoke him to loose his sanity.
Ishita- just stop it ashok.I can't take it anymore.I am ur wife damn it.
Ashok- today I will teach u who r u.bloody bitch,can't do a small thing for ur darling husband.today I am going to do what I never thought that I will do.he clutched her hair in his hand and pulled her.she winced in pain.she was crying bitterly while he was taking her downstairs. She was pleading to leave her but he was nowhere to listen.he bring her down and pushed her on the wall.she collided with the wall and blood oozes out of her head.she held her forehead in pain.he hold her hair and collided it again with the wall.she started loosing her sense slowly.her crying ,her pleading everything lessen.
He hold her hair and took her to the bar counter.
Ashok- today I will kill u.then I will marry a new girl who will fulfill this demand of mine.saying so he took a bottle of whisky and was about to smash it on her head ,when Raman came inside the house with a team of police.
Raman- arrest him.he wants to kill her.
Police ran to ashok and ashok loosen his hold on her.she was about to fall when Raman ran and hold her to his chest.
Raman shook her and said- ishita ,ishita r u fine.I am sorry I took so much time to come.ishita please open ur eyes.
Ishita open her eyes ,look at him and fainted in his arms.
Cop- Mr ashok khanna u r under arrest for torturing ur wife,for domestic violence.
Ashok- u r doing wrong inspector.u don't know me.and Raman how could u do this.I am ur friend.
Raman- yes u r my friend and I am ashamed of this fact.I hate that I considered u as my friend. I so wanna wring ur neck but now taking ishita to the hospital is my first preference. But soon I will be back to do that ashok.u will not be forgiven for making this poor girl's life a living hell.I will not spare u ashok khanna.he said with sheer anger holding ishita in his arms.
Before ashok could answer him,Raman scooped ishita in his arms and ran towards his car.
Raman- driver,to the hospital, fast.he said getting into the car.the driver started the car.
Raman was hugging her to his heart.his shirt was drenched in her blood.a tear fell from his eyes seeing her in such condition.
Raman take out his hanky and clean the blood from her forehead.and tied it on her wound..
Raman- sorry ishita,I took so much of time but I can't help it.ashok is a big man and I am a NRI. Nobody was listening to me.but mihir helped me in it and finally I could take those cops to help u.but don't worry ishita,now I am here,I won't let anything happens to u.I will save u for sure.he said closing his eyes tight shut afraid of the tears to fell.
Soon he was in hospital picking her in his arms.he put her on the stretcher and goes to the doctor.
Raman- doc check her.she is injured badly.
Doc look at her and said- sorry we can't treat her.its a police case. First file a fir then we will treat her.
As Raman was back in India after many years he don't know anything about it.
Raman- I will do it.first cure her.she needs treatment asap.
Doc- sorry we can't help it.
Raman- how can u deny to cure a patient.she may die without treatment.
Doc-marti hai toh mare,(let her die)we can't touch it without police.
Raman became furious seeing his inhuman attitude. He picked a knife and put it on his neck.
Raman- bol treatment karega ki nahi(say u will treat her or not.)
Doctor was scared by his action.
Doctor- what u r doing.call the security, call the police.leave me or nobody can save u.
Raman- mera Jo hoga so hoga.abhi mere sar pe khoon sawaar hai.mujhe bas itna bata tu treatment karega ki nahi.(I will look after that.just answer me u will treat her or not)he asked taking the knife closer to him.
Doctor look at him.his eyes were red with anger.doctor got petrified.
Doctor- OK I am doing it ,leave me.
Raman- apni jaan pe aayi toh saare rules taak pe rakh diye.saalon tumhari zindagi uski zindagi se zyada kimati nahi hai.kabhi dusron ke baare mein bhi soch liya karo.(when it comes on u.u r ready to break any damn rule. There is not difference between ur life and her life.)he said putting back the knife.
Doctor- I am sorry sir.saying so he ordered the compounder to take her inside.
Its been two hours since they took her inside.Raman was pacing to and fro in tension.he was praying for her life.at last the doctor came out.Raman ran to him.
Raman- how is she?
Doctor- she had huge blood loss.but now the situation is under control .I think ur prayers saved her.
Raman finally smiled hearing her being well.
Doctor- we r transferring her to the room in sometime. Then u can see her.
Raman hugged him in excitement and said- thanks doctor.
Doctor smiled and went away.
After ten minutes they transferred her to the room.he goes inside and saw her.her head was bandaged and she was sleeping peacefully. He smiled seeing her safe and sound.
He goes near her.the nurse standing there smiled at him and said- she is fine.
Raman took out some money and give it to her to show his gratitude.
Nurse- thanks sir,u know she is very lucky.coz she has a husband like u.who cares for her so much.u were even ready to do anything for her.ur wife is indeed lucky.saying so she went out of the cabin .
Raman was stunned to hear her words and realised he had been behaving like a mad man for a girl who is not his wife.actually who is noone to him.he doesn't know anything other then her name.
He goes to her and sat beside her.he caressed her face lovingly and planted a feathery kiss on her forehead.
Raman- tum kuch nahi ho meri.biwi nahi dost nahi kuch bhi nahi.phir kya hai aisa ki tumhe takleef mein dekh kar main iss tarah boukhala gaya.kyu tumhara dard dekh kar meri aankhon mein aansu aa gaye.yeh kaisa ehsaas hai jo mujhe tumse jod raha hai(u r not my wife or friend, still I can't see u in pain.why I am feeling connected with u )
Chot lagi hai usse phir kyun mehsoos mujhe ho raha
Dil tu bata de kya hai irada tera
He took her hand in his and kissed it.
Raman- please jaldi se thik ho jao.main nahi dekh sakta tumhe aise.tumhe abhi uth kar uss ashok se khud par hue har ek julm ka badla Lena hai ishita.(please be OK ,I can't see u like this.u have to get up and take revenge from ashok for his every misdeed)
He also slept keeping his head there coz he also didn't slept for the whole night.he had been trying to file a case against ashok and bring the cops to his house.
The nurse called him to wake him up.Raman open his eyes and look at the watch.it was 12 at noon.he had been sleeping for three hours sitting on the chair itself.
Raman- she didn't wake up till now.
Nurse- soon she will wake up.u please go and get these injections.I have to give her.she said giving a piece of paper.
Raman- OK I just get these.saying so he went outside the room after seeing her a last time.
Soon she wake up and was looking for someone.before she can ask someone she saw her appa in front of her.she thought appa brought her .she hugged him tight and said- I knew this appa.that u will surely come to rescue me.I know that u love me.
Appa- I think u r OK now.let's go ,we have to go somewhere.
Ishita- OK appa.she agreed happily.
Nurse- but sir ,she had lost so much of blood.her wounds r fresh.u should not take her anywhere.
Appa glared at her and said- don't interfere. I know what is best for her.come ishu.
Ishita try to get up but couldn't. She called appa,thinking he may help her but her appa instructed the nurse to help her.ishita felt too bad but was happy that appa came for her.
Appa was waiting for ishita in his car.nurse helped her to settle on the passenger seat.appa instructed the driver to start the car.
Ishita- I knew that u will surely come appa.u know ashok beat me badly and he wants to kill me.she was go on saying about the misdeed of ashok but appa wasn't paying any attention.
Soon the car stopped.
Appa- come with me.
Ishita- why we have come to police station appa.oh u wanna punish ashok naa.
They went inside.ishita was finding it difficult to walk.every time she look at her appa for support,he looks away.after great difficulty she reached till the inspector. She sat on the chair.
Appa give her a piece of paper and said- sign it.
Ishita- what's this appa.
Appa- this is ur consent letter in which its written that ashok is innocent. U r fallen from the stairs. All accusations on him r false.
Ishita was stunned to hear this.she turn back to see ashok who was smirking and then to her appa who was glaring her to getting his son in law arrest.
A tear fell off her eye seeing their indifference towards her.
