Wise men say , eyes mirror, what the heart feels, and what the soul truly is... , and undeniable as this , is the fact that, we often read the unsaid, hear the unspoken, looking into the eyes of the one afore us...
If one cannot meet the eye of another, owing to a guilt so overbearing, one can read only read too clearly , the empathy and an inappropriateness of their own presence at moment, in the gaze that doesn't meet the eye....lest, it evoke emotions so overwhelming, that could wash away the precious moments of the present into the shadows of the moments bygone....
If Dr Mallik, could read the concern of a worried father in the eyes of the Dr Shashank on the fateful night, when he was privy to a truth, that he possibly wasnt meant to..., so could Dr Shashank could read the guilt of a bearing the truth hidden, that he was so unwillingly privy to , in the eyes of Dr Mallik, that only established a bond of faith so deep... of a gratitude so true, that would only deepen the bond of faith and trust between them...
Much as Dr Shashank has realized that Dr Mallik is aware of a truth that had been buried in the depths of his own heart all through the bygone years, he does realize, that young doctor , considers himself no lucky or wiser to have known it, but is only too aware of him having been unwillingly... privy to a truth , that was best left , buried... in the sands of time...and which he henceforth is only too willing to let it stay buried ...away...as always...
Its often in moments as these , that one witnesses, between two deeply conscious and aware individuals, that one cannot help but say... "where the eyes read the unsaid, the hearts hears the unspoken, an unwavering bond of faith stands established..."
