The film faced a tough competition from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama 'Bajirao Mastani,' and had to struggle at the box-office as soon as its first weekend got over. However, 'Dilwale' is ahead of 'Bajirao Mastani' as its gross collection in India is Rs 187.25 crore and gross overseas collection is Rs 151.50 crore which makes its worldwide collection Rs 338.75 crore.
The film had earned Rs 95.37 crore in its first week, Rs 31.11 crore in its second week and Rs 10.71 crore in its third week.
After their clash on the box office, 'Bajirao Mastani' is ahead of 'Dilwale' by Rs 34 crore in domestic collections.
