BM-175cr domestic, 16m$ overseas, 350cr worldwide.

VD's highest -ABCD2- a sequel of hit franchise- barely100cr domestic, flop overseas

Its obvious Ranveer is now way ahead of Varun at BO game. Hell VD is yet to cross Ramleela LOLL

Mind you I am talking about BO not acting cause Varun cant be half as good an actor as Ranveer even in his whole lifetime.

Tell me when Ranveers film works without a superstar heroines and a popular director

Bajirao worked on WOM. Besides that film opened lower than ABCD 2 which was released in Ramadan time

Ranveers last flick was DDD - a below average flick and before that was Kill Dil a mega flop didn't even cross 30cr 😆

Atleast all Varuns films have crossed 50cr and all were successful. More clean hits than Ranveer too mate

Dude a stronger story just defeated a weaker film and script

Nothing relying on Ranveers starpower here.
Film opened to 11cr only. Lol and Deepika was a bigger star if we judge the face value. As her weak film Tamaasha opened better than Ranveers DDD and Kill Dil

And this is important how and why? Plus like someone mentioned we have to keep in mind Ranveer works with the likes of Deepika (RL, BM) a more popualr heroine than a Shraddha, Kirti, and IIeana and Nargis. Not to mention SLB is good and a well known director.

let's hope he aint ranbir number 2. I like ranveer bt he got a lot of work to do be4 he can be really compared to any khan. And dilwali is just a bad film and the better film won. It wasn't simply Ranveer who worked if it was then Lootera which was freaking brilliant would have done better than it did. Bt 1 thing atleast VD can take it easy nw. This is technically his 1st flop- over 150 crore flop bt I will take it as that coz its 50 short of what it should have got. And now he can get back to some serious work and a lesson learnt hopefully
