what is with victimising either parth or niti time to time...why can;'t they be human and at fault...
whatever the outcome of this fight between vk and parth..one has to be blind not to see how parth benefitted from his association with vikas...if we fans can make out that vikas is a dbag right from the kyy days just from noticing his behaviour with parth on sns or from the pics..then parth has to be a first class idiot or an opportunist to not to see it too...the thing about karma which everybody loves to chant these days is that it applies to everyone regardless...one should just accept the truth that parth might have been seriously at fault too and the fact that he was needlessly bullied on sns because of it shouldn't get him off the hook
about niti...recording or no recording ..her ranting on sns was totally uncalled for..if anything she did most disservice to herself than anyone by getting herself involved in a controversy which had nothing to do with her
however twitter world is not the real world...niti's message was aimed at parth is only known to those in kyy fandom and whoever who has any interest in this circus on sns...so saying she ruined his career is seriously laughable..verbal abuse or not ..it can't be taken seriously until niti actually files a case against him...if it was then we would have had parth giving explanations everywhere like he is doing with vg's accusations which i have to add is serious because of the legal notice and not because of the accusations hurled on twitter..the fact that parth is not even bothered abt niti's rant shows it.i am nt holding that against him btw...
abt giving benefit of doubt to vg...no one is saying that he is a saint either...he looks like a creep and acts like one and his turning this whole thing into a personal vendetta on sns has only backfired on him
the bottom line is both parth and niti are young actors ..both new to this industry...they will keep on doing such mistakes..that is part of growing up..only because they are celebs doesn;t mean they are not humans..the most disservice we are doing to them is by treating them as if they are above everything or as victims...nobody is a victim...everyone has to bear fruits of their actions regardless who they are...
parth got the support of his fandom because he was true to his craft...not because they know the actual truth..no one still knows..but still people are taking sides regardless...
and when we talk about standing for humanity..i am sure there are more deserving cases about inhuman behaviour in real world which require our attention...
👏👏 The most well balanced post in this thread.
Topic maker, if Parth was not given the benefit of doubt, do you think he would have been getting the tremendous support on sns not only from his fans but also neutral fans? Most fans of the show, including me, feel enraged at this relentless cornering of Parth for settling personal scores. That does not mean Parth is a helpless victim in this entire drama.
Parth did get special favours like long vacations, flexibility to do more than one show (which means the others had to adjust their work schedules to suit his availability) because of his close association with VG. Later after VG left the channel, he felt obliged (or he may have been threatened or emotionally blackmailed, we do not know) to do his shows and indulged in quitting drama, first in March and later in August, when he actually quit. Thankfully for him, his fan base grew and became strong enough for him to bargain the favours he wanted both the times. Knowing his inherent strength, he refused to get cowed down by VG's demands and, in turn, demanded his dues for the show he did for his former 'buddy'.
VG, who is used to being treated as God by his prodigies couldn't accept the fact that the object of his obsession can call his own tunes unlike some others who would blindly do everything he commands. He knew that Parth is very conscious of his image which he has carefully cultivated over the months. Since Parth's strength is his fan following (largely female), he went about this master plan to take him down when he least expected it. How his devious, manipulative and vindictive mind works was plainly evident from his numerous tweets posted over a three-month span. Parth's deeds in unguarded private moments were made public to shame the actor in front of his fans. Unfortunately for him, Parth's fans accepted him with all his flaws. In a way, this worked in Parth's favour because he needn't be too conscious of his image now as his fans accept him as he is. Maybe that is why he was openly asking (which so many pleases, if I may add) his fans who want to date him to get in touch with him.
I wasn't surprised that Parth did not openly criticise VG and was quite ambiguous in his references to their dispute. Why would he want to burn all his bridges with a well connected man, even before his career in bollywood takes off? That is called tact and self preservation and has nothing to do with being magnanimous to his mentor. The only time he reacted was when there were aspersions on his sexual orientation, that too cast by the queen bee of Indian T.V. who also happens to be a successful and connected producer in bollywood. He wouldn't have reacted if it was just a tabloid news.
Coming to Niti's role in this controversy, she could have stayed out of it, not because it would ruin Parth's career (don't think she has that much clout), but because it only led to unnecessary bashing, which she seems quite sensitive about. Having said that, I can understand her annoyance at being abused by her co-star whose decisions/actions have affected her one way or another, on and offscreen.
I surely do not think this controversy was a publicity stunt by Parth and VG. If anything all this mudslinging tarnished the image of all concerned and not these two alone.
If there is an out-of-court settlement, a lot of time, energy and money has been spent on this unnecessary drama, without the more serious problems of casting couch and extortions in this industry being addressed in any meaningful way.
Bottom line - No one is an innocent victim in this drama. All are different shades of grey, some darker (bordering on black) than others. And yes, karma does not discriminate. Everyone is feeling its heat.
