So many times, for so many reasons we hide our true feelings
and say something contrary to what we have in our hearts
The reasons for this can be many, sometimes good, sometimes bad...
Sometimes we trick strangers but many times we hide the truth from our own loved ones...
Of course, eyes as they say are the mirrors to the soul,
and we inadvertently reveal our true selves to those who are alert
So, we had Subahu hiding the venom in his heart and pretending to be repentant
actually planning to kill Rama, caught out by an alert Lakshmana
Of course Rama has lightening reflexes and easily foils Subahu's attack and
with his karuna and daya finally transforms Subahu
We had kekeyi, secretly unhappy with Rama's victory, and very uncomfortable with the way
Bharata was happy with Rama's success
Had anyone been more observant, they would've seen Kekeyi's dil ki baat was different
from her outward reactions
And finally of course the last instance of the secrets of the heart was Sita ...
Whose heart is already given to the Prince of Ayodhya
And who has slowly and softly crept into her heart
But the question is of her father's happiness
Her sisters' future and a prophesy from Rishi Parshurama
vis a vis
A man who's face she has still not even seen
Someone who she knows nothing about - but that he is the Prince of Ayodhya
And he seems to be a kind hearted brave warrior
Her dil is torn between her own abstract dream and her fathers and sisters reality
Sita being Sita of course chose the latter...
