"What are you doing?" Kunj asked cautiously as he slowly stepped into the bathroom.
Twinkle continued applying the dye into her hair, unperturbed.
"What does it look like I'm doing?" Twinkle asked.
"Why?" Kunj picked up the dye box and wondered why she would ever want to change her hair.
"Just wanted a change. Was getting tired of seeing the same thing over and over again." Twinkle turned on the faucet to wash her hands.
"Will that ever apply to me?" Kunj impulsively asked.
He knew it was a big mistake from looking at the way Twinkle narrowed her eyes at him.
"And just what is the connection in me applying hair dye and you?" She put her hands on her hips, a clear sign a major argument was about to happen.
"Well.. you said you got tired of seeing the same thing over and over again." Kunj slowly put back the box, avoiding her gaze.
"Kunj, I chose to marry you. I didn't choose what color hair I was to be born with. And even if I do change my hair color, you don't have a say in it. It's my body and I will choose how I decide to present it. Not you." She snapped. "And as for you, keep this attitude up and I just might change my mind."
Twinkle walked past Kunj, brushing his shoulder along the way.
Kunj looked up and took a deep sigh.
He's undoubtedly sleeping on the couch tonight.
