What is DPs next film. After achieving so much its true she will do good films but she should not become like Amir Khan. She should continue doing films like Tamasha and Piku but where is she? what is her next film? is 2016 going to be DP less year?

She will do good movies and better movies. As of now there is a hollywood project in the platter. I don't think she has signed any bolly project as of yet.

I think she has to clear her dates for that Vin Diesel movie, after that she can give her nod to BW films. From what I know, she's supposed to be locked in for some apprentice movie.

Deepika should strictly not be in any HW movie as of now. BW is enough for her. All she needs is a good script.

And a woman centric film, for gods sake DP, you havent done a solo film yet. All others have done, PC, Kareena, Kangna, Sonam even Sonakshi

She is starting her Hollywood film in February, and the director said they hope to release the film in late 2016/early 2017,

So it looks like in 2016 she just wants to focus on.her Hollywood project so hasn't signed any other movie yet

@bold - I think she is already committed to the Vin Diesel movie, so...

@red - I agree with you. I would love to see her do a good female-centric movie.

She will have no releases in 2016 lol and I think that's a horrible move on her part. You have to keep the momentum going otherwise you'll lose your spot. This happened with Katrina! She had no films from November 2012-December 2013. And her comeback film was an epic fail cuz she didn't even have a big role in D3

Exactly. Things change drastically every 2 years or so. Consider that prior to 2014, no one cared about Kangana. And Varun Dhawan hit it big while Ranbir was missing in action. There are so many actresses who are trying to reach the top, DP shouldn't take a risk like that and expect the status quo to remain the same when 2017 rolls around. She should have a filler movie, or do what Kareena did with that Mary song😆
