Is Sonam a miscast for Neerja? Could someone else have done it?

😊 I loved the trailor, but somehow Sonam didn't make the required impact for this role. It is a serious subject and I can imagine probably Deepika, Anuskha, or even Priyanka in this role. So, is Sonam a miscast for Neerja? Could someone else have done it? Please share your thoughts.

I thought d same..d trailer luks promising n subject interesting bt d way sonam delivers her dialogues in d trailer, widout much of n expression, it ll b d same old story it seems...d movie is d one dat requires a strong performance from d lead to sympathize wid d character bt I m afraid a potential winner may fall flat due to its lady..Anushka came to my mind who wud hv been an apt choice

If the movie does well, I would be surprised. Anuskha would have been great, she proved her worth with NH10 last year. 😊

I guess d movie ll get a decent to gud opening..hype seems gud arnd d movie..it's trailer is appreciated despite sonam in it 😆 Bad wom(If) owing to sonam's skills may bring it down

Most people are rooting for the movie coz of Neerja herself and the producer Atul kasbekar...

it's nice that the makers have so much faith in sonam's acting ability, and fair enough she shud get another chance (one more from the list of endless opportunities)...but they really could have gone for a better actress..there r quite a few out there who wud have nailed it
