the closest to a favorite I have currently is ranbir but he probably can't do roles like bittu sharma from bbb convincingly..i don't like him much in comedy either.

So in some aspects/areas/roles he is the best but in other roles..not so much.

but I just want to say that i think he can do lootera better than ranveer..people had an issue with the latter's dialogue delivery in the film and i think if ranbir was there there wouldn't be many such complaints

May be with time, we grow out of our favourites and get practical. When I was in Juhi fan mode, I never accepted Madhuri's superstardom or SRK-Kajol chemistry. But with time, I have learnt to accept them. But that does not take out my fondness for my favourite.

No, my favourites are not the best. They have success and failures and a lot of room to grow. I like seeing what they do because they're passionate about their work and have potential, not because they've already conquered everyone and everything.
