Salman vs Srk - 1994-99 - Box Office Stats - BOI

3 Phase | 3 Decades

1. 1994 - 1999 (BOI yet to update some films from 1989-1995 like MPK, AAA, Baazigar, Darr etc, list given at the end of this post)

2. 2000 - 2009

3. 2010 - 2015 (3rd Decade still going, 6 years Data)

Let's See how much these 2 Khans performed in these 3 Phase of their career, next 2 threads will be for other 2 phase, this is for 1st phase.

Don't worry, when ASLI BOI as per U will update website back again, i will UPDATE This thread according to that site. In that way, you will be happy as i have authenticated figures from that website only.

BOI is known to change figures & verdicts from time to time, i can show you 3 version of above 90's film's data with screenshot of BOI website, but they have always justified as due to some errors they change it & rectify from new authentic sources.

Those who believe BOI, don't mind this, yes, they also wonder, but BOI is only website which is followed by those who want AUTHENTIC BO Figures for hindi films. Next source is Producer's which if U or anyone else want to follow, you can.

No matter how much i feel BOI is bias to Srk/Aamir in some ways, still will keep BOI as only source for our hindi films, until any other source doesn't arrive.

Domestic (India) - Salman started his career with flying colors, a ATBB film MPK Smashing success which continued to this decade's starting, further HAHK just made him untouchable among his contemporaries, few superhits n decade ending spectacular last year's 3 Major hits just lay down STAMP on the fact that this decade belongs to only superstar i.e. Salman Khan. Shahrukh also had good decade, he was 2nd best after Salman.

Overseas - Salman's 2 films MPK, HAHK made solid ground for indian films abroad, which helped DDLJ, DTPH, KKHH, HSSH kind of big grossers in overseas. Decade's biggest grosser KKHH made a huge difference, put Srk's lead in overseas category much higher, but if u see it was having Salman Khan as supporting actor also, no matter BOI won't include this as Salman's film also, but if we see it, Salman has conquered overseas also with this film. Overall it was Srk's films in overseas which did more business at the end of decade.

WorldWide (Domestic+India) - If you want to rule WW, you have to be strong in Domestic, let alone in Overseas won't take u further in this list, which Salman did better than Srk, due to which Salman lead in WW list.

Despite this list being not complete, even after adding those remaining films, Salman will lead Domestic/WW & Srk will lead Overseas.

Combine 31 films of Salman & Srk from 90's:

NETT India - 481 Cr

WW Gross - 941 Cr

Salman's 2 films from 2015 combine (BB/PRDP):

NETT India - 509 Cr

WW Gross - 968 Cr

Now when u start your career like that, you have to perform in this manner after 26 Years down the line.
