And this is the combined idea of my sister and me. She told me and with modifications I have penned it down.. hope u all will like it..
This OS has been dedicated to my MOTU BHAIYAA as today is his happy wala birthday.. so happy b'day motu bhaiyaa..!!!

I don't know ki if anyone has already written a story similar to this.. I swear this isn't a copied one but may be a sheer coincidence.. so if u find this one to be similar to any of the already existing one.. do let me know.. so here goes the OS :
31-12-2015 - The most famous club in Mumbai : (around 11 PM )
And the most famous band of the country were present there as the chief gueststo welcome the newyear with a bang. The party was on full swing. Crowd was going mad shouting and cheering for FAB 5..!! it was almost 11:15 and fab 5 were served drinks after being lead to a private lounge booked exclusively for them and from there the whole club was clearly visible. Manik (the lead singer and guitarist ) Cabir (the drummer) Aliya (the keyboard player ) Mukthi (the one with electric guitar) and Dhruv ( another guitarist ) were the most famous band of India - The Fab5, had come to the club to add more stars to the already glittering club.
In the lounge :
Manik was having his drink when suddenly his eyes fell on a girl sitting opposite to them on the other side of the floor of the lounge which was quite deserted as everyone was on the dance floor. ( actually in the same floor an area was restricted for fab 5 and the other area was left open for the guests.) manik observed her, the girl was writing something in a diary like thing. Manik immediately got curious as to what a girl might be writing when a full swing party was going on. He looked at her keenly. She was wearing a white coloured kurti with white leggin and a bandini chunni, her hair loosly left, and her jhumkis which were shining even in the dull light, her minimal makeup, her kajal filled big doe eyes, the loose strands of hair which she was tucking behind her ear every now and then, her pouty lips with a little gloss.
"ahh.. soo beautiful.." manik thought and got up and started walking towards her as if being attracted by a magnet. The moment he got up to leave the room cabir interrupted
"manik.. where r u going..?"
"ill be back..." manik said and took another step forward to move
"arae manik if its soo urgent na.. then go straight and take a left.. ull find what u r searching for.." mukthi said and winked at him. He shook his head in disbelief and said "mukthi.. yaar not now.." and walked out or to say almost ran to avoid further questions.
Watching manik's behaviour Aliya said looking at others " why is he behaving like this..?" to which
Dhruv replied " I think he saw someone.." and pointed towards the girl sitting opposite to them.
"ohh teri.. sala.. ladki mili aur humhae chod kae chaya gaya.. kya din aa gayae hai.." cabir spoke dramatically and all laughed.
Manik reached the girl and sat in front of her and the poor soul was soo engrossed in writing ki she didn't even see when manik came and sat infront of her.
"haii..!" manik said and waved his hand.
The girl gasped and immediately closed the book in which she was writing and held in close to her chest wrapping her arms around it, and slowly lifted her eyelashes and finally looked at him and her eyes widened in shock+ surprise. She was stunned and wasn't able to utter a single word as it was The Manik Malhotra sitting in front of her. Manik snapped his fingers in front of her face to bring her back from her lala land and she immediately spoke in an extra excited tone
"u know what.. my friend is a very big fan of urs.."
"what..??" manik was also surprised.. yaar who would expect ki if a rockstar suddenly comes and sits in front of u and u say ki my friend is a fan of urs..! poor manik..
He managed a smile and said "ohh.. dats great..!"
Meanwhile in the longue :
"wo kya kar raha hai..??" mukthi asked looking at manik keenly.
"shayad vo ussae jantha ho.." dhruv said
"no..no.. that's not possible.. hum uskae saarae friends koo janthae hai.." Aliya was getting curious with each passing second.
"arae tu itna kyun pareshan ho rahi hai jaisae Dhruv kisi aur kae saath chala gaya hai.. vo hai na tarae paas.." cabir said and winked at her. Aliya pushed away his comment and Dhruv blushed a little and cabir continued "so.. manik malhotra iss sal new year kisi nayae insaan.. sorry.. kisi pretty ladki kae saath shuru kar rahae hai.."
Other side :
"so that means u don't like me..?" manik asked looking at her
"no.. its nothing like that.." she replied
"accha then u like me.." manik said naughtily and she looked away and made her grip on the book more tight with each passing second. Manik observed this and said "so whats your name..?"
"nandini.. im nandini murthy.." nandini replied with a big smile
"nice meeting u nandini.. waisae u were writing something na before I came..? I observed that u were writing from quite long time..." and looked at the book she was holding and nandini immediately kept the book in her lap under the table and said
"nai.. its.. its nothing.. bas kuch random stuff hai.. something stupid.. u.. u...u don't have to see this.. its nothing important.." she said stammering and looked everywhere except manik
"accha.. ab to pakka I want to see it..:" saying this manik got up and sat beside her who was till now in front of her. Nandini had no way to go as already she was sitting in a corner she was trapped between manik and the wall. She tried to move but manik was quick enough and pulled her back and she fell in his lap with her eyes tightly shut and clutched her diary more tightly.. manik mover closer to her and whispered in her ear "give the book by urself or else I have my own ways to get it.." and nuzzled in her neck inhaling her scent. Nandini started breathing heavily and was trying hard to move but how could she when manik had wrapped his arms around her waist very tightly.
"man..manik.. leave me.. koi dekh laega.." nandini said in a low tone
Manik was soo much lost in her scent that he just hummed and continued with his work.

"besharam kahika...!!" dekha kya kar raha hai..hawww..!!" cabir said dramatically palming his mouth looking at manan
"abae drama queen.. yae sab chod.. tunae notice kiya.. for the first time manik malhotra kisi ladki kae saath aaisae behave kar raha hai.. she is definitely something.." mukthi said
"yeah even I agree.."aliya seconded her
"I think she is the one for manik.. " dhruv said with a smile of satisfaction on his face.. and everyone nodded approvingly

Manik came back to his senses and observed nandini lost in him and taking it as on opportunity grabbed the book from her hands and nandini came back to reality and jumped off his lap
There was a pen kept inside the book so he opened the page directly and looked at it.. It was a 2016 diary.. and the page opened was November 23rd
Manik looked at nandini and back at he book again the book and again nandini. Nandini was looking at him helplessly with a questioning expression.
"r u crazy.. 2016 ki dairy 2015 mae kaun likhtha hai...??" manik gave her a weird expression and nandini snatched the book from his hands and frowned and said "whats so crazy about that.. bola than a don't see it.. and nothing is crazy in this" and put the dairy behind her holding it tightly
Manik : what are u writing
Nandini : mai kyun bataun
Manik : then why r u hiding
Nandini ; what am I hiding.. nothing.. i.. im not hiding anything
Manik (smirking) : then why r u stammering
Nandini : what.. I,..im not stammering
Manik : now tell me what is that u r writhng
Nandini : why should I tell u..
Manik : kyun ki mai puch raha hun..
Nandini : toh mai kyun bataun
Manik got up from his seat and moved towards her who was taking a step backwards with his everystep towards her and ahh.. she was again trapped between manik and the wall.
Manik placed his hands on her sides not letting her move and inch and bent down to her face and rubbed his left cheek with her right and did the same with her right . he slowly wrapped his hands around her waist and jerked her more closer.

"yaar yae manik kya kar raha hai..???" cabir said in a hussed tone
"haan yaar.. kahin usae abhi kis..."mukthi was saying this and aliya palmed her mouth and nodded a no
"buddy aaisa kuch nahi karaega.. I know him.." Dhruv supported his bff
"chup raho aur focus karo.." cabir said exicitedly
"shup up cabir.." mukthi slapped his shoulder
"tujhae dekhnae hai toh dekh warna apna muh bandh rakh.. mujhae focus karnae dae.." cabir said rubbing his shoulder where he got hit.

"so u r going to tell me what is in that dairy..?" manik whispered huskily in her ears.
Nandini first nodded a NO then a YES and again a NO. manik pulled her more closer with a jerk that now there was no gap between them, he slowly freed the dairy she was holding in her hands on her back and with one hand he held her and with other her dairy.
"m..ma...manik..." nandini called him stammeringly
"shhh.." and he placed his finger on her lips and nodded a no. she was lost in his eyes that were pleading her not to deny his request.
"come.." manik said and pulled nandini with him and sat on the table beside them and opened the dairy.

"yae dono book pad rahae hai.. mai toh pata nai kya kya soch raha tha.. yae manik kitna unromantic hai yaar.." cabir said and dropped on the couch as everyone was stuck to the glass wall of the lounge from where manan were visible to them and others followed and sat in their respectively places.
"lets see what they r doing..?" mukthi said curiously and DhruLya nodded in accordance.

"so im gonna read this dairy now.." manik said opening it
"nooo..!!" nandini pleaded and manik nodded a NO stubbornly and opened the first page and read aloud
"Jan 1 - to catch fireflies
Jan 2 - pluck all the flowers of neighbours garden
Jan 3 - beat watchman..!!" manik said in astonishment and looked at nandini and asked in a surprised tone "what are all these..??"
She looked down and said "this is my wish book.. on that particular date I want to do that.."
"these are very common wishes.. u have to write something which is impossible.." he said after analysing her list
"itna easy nahi hai yae sab.." she said complaining
"ohh. Common.. these are dam simple things..!" manik said casually
"everything is not so simple to everyone Mr.Malhotra.." nandini replied
"so u r afraid..haan...?" manik asked naughtily and she frowned again
"nahi..!!" she retorted
"then what..?" he asked
"vo..vo.. I have never done things of this kind soo.. im nervous..?" she replied playing with the corner of her dupatta..
"can I help u in fulfilling these wishes..??" manik asked with a lot of hope in his eyes.. something was there in her which attracted him to core and that was'nt mere attraction..
"will u..?" she asked like a kid..
"ok then Miss.Nandini Murthy.. our Mission not so Impossible starts tomorrow.." he said forwarding his hand for a handshake.. she forwarded her hand and said "ok then tomorrow morning 4:30 lets meet behind Mumbai university.." (see I don't know whether Mumbai university exists or not.. its just lke dat.. I couldn't thnk of any name or point out any university)
"what.. I mean adhi raath ko Mumbai university kyun..?" he asked in a totally freaking tone
"oh hello.. adhi raat nai early morning.. and because fireflies wahan hotae hai we need to go there na.." she said in a matter-of-fact tone
And there was announcement for fab5 as the time was 11:50 and they would start their performance and end exactly at 12:00.
Manik dragged nandini along with him downstairs while fab4 also came down. He asked nandini to stay near the stage itself and himself went backstage to join his friends. Fab4 decided not to ask manik anything until he himself opens up and remained quite. Soon they came on the stage and started their performance. They sang "yaroon dosti" song and by the time they finished it it was exactly 12:00 and they wished everyone happy new year and the real celebrations began.
Fab5 joined the dance floor and were enjoying with their fans when suddenly something stuck manik's mind and he excused himself and sat at the bar counter searching something in his phone. Seeing this mukthi approached him and put her hand on his shoulder and as soon as she placed her hand manik almost screamed "yaieee.. mukthi..!! yes.. yes.. mujhae vo jagah mil gayi.. ab mujhae adhi raath nahi uthna padaega.. I can enjoy the party.." and got up from his chair hugged mukthi tightly and went in search of nandini. Mukthi stood totally frozen on her place seeing maniks behaviour and after gaining senses ran towards Fab3 who were totally lost dancing crazily and enjoying to their fullest.
"cabirr... dhruv..aliuu..."she said and shook their shoulders to grab their attention. Seeing her like this they got worried and all moved to their private lounge and after making her sit on the sofa cabir asked her
"kya hua..bhooth dekh liya kya..?" and laughed looking at her blank face and aliya ran to get water for her
"bhooth nahi.. ma..ma..manik.."she said with a expressionless face
"what..manik..kya hua buddy ko..?" dhruv became worried
"he is gone mad.." she finally spoke and all were like "what...!!" and started laughing
"kyun.. tunae ussae sir pae mara kya..?" cabir asked still laughing
"nahi.. but I ssl wanted to.." mukthi came back to senses completely
"kya hua mukthi say properly na.." aliya asked annoyingly
"arae.. he suddenly left the dance floor and was busy in his phone.. I went to call him back.. and he hugged me and said ki mujahe adhi rath nahi uthna padaega..i can party.. and was blaberring something and before I could ask him something he ran away.." mukthi said shaking her head in disbelief.
"where is he..?" aliya asked
"downstairs.." dhruv said as he wasn't visible anywhere nearby.
"he might be searching for us.. nechae chalo.. bekar mae dara diya is lady bheem nae..huh.." cabir said and moved towards the door to go down and everyone followed and started searching for manik.
"kahan chala gaya yae..?" dhruv asked scratching his head
"gayab ho gaya toh..?" aliya said dramatically
"shut up.. search him asap.." mukthi said looking around
"tum log na bekar mae pareshan ho rahae ho.. humhara manik baba current pole kae jaisae lamba hai.. we can easily spot him.. don't worry..mil jayaega " cabir said and continued pointing his finger in a direction "vo raha.. chalo.. lets surprise him.." and the rest followed and spotted manik who was not aware of their presence around and they were listening their conversation.
"oh,.. hello nandini wait.." manik called her from behind
"kya hua..?" she asked him
"where are u going..?" he said surprisingly
"ghar..subah jaldi uthna hai na.." she said looking at her watch and continued "see.. its already 1:00.. and humhae 4:30 wapis milna hai.."
"u come with me and enjoy the party.." he said holding her hand
"what..no.. I mean I have to go.." she said trying to free herself from his grip. Manik pulled her close with a jerk and said " I will fulfil ur every wish.. and u will definitely catch fireflies tomorrow.. u trust me na ?"
"yes.. I do trust u manik.." she said looking straight into his eyes
"then..come with me.." he was back on his point
"manik.. please let me go.. I don't like parties much.. and today also I came because my friends dragged me here and I couldn't deny their request.. please.." she said softly not breaking the eye lock.
"ok.. give me your number.." he asked after freeing her from his grip and she told him.. they exchanged their numbers and manik said "ok tomorrow morning ill tell u where to go for your fireflies.." and she nodded smilingly.. and turned to leave when suddenly nandini called manik
"Mr.malhotra..!!"
He turned to look at her " HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!.." she said with her most beautiful smile and he too replied "HAPPIEST NEW YEAR Miss. Murthy.." and both left..
A journey began which will bring these two souls together forever and their love story will be cherished HUMESHA..!!!
