I feel that this new face of Chunilal may be the love struck Kshitijh, the Lawyer who traced out Durgesh and later fell in love with her and wanted to marry her. But somehow Durgesh liked Sik and Kshitijh was dumped. He had a grudge and tried all his level best to break Durgesh and Sik. There maybe a untold hidden story of how Kshitijh changed to Chunilal or is Chunilal a friend of Kshitijh.

Otherwise i dont see any reason for Chunilal to possess Durgesh. Maybe he is plotting. He has suceeded in tarnishing Sik's image now, and maybe next proceed to marry her. Before that he might indirectly expose to the Srivastav family about Durgesh's conspiracy with Sik and how Sik and DN took away the business empire of babuji.

She will get potrayed as a villianess and she will have no option but to marry him to return the property, and not even return to lalganj.

As usual DN will have to go to the feets of BHOLENATH.
