Honestly, just watching that moment will make you smile like an idiot. The way Madhav was ready to protect his Manu... His princess... Or in better words, his wife. And that to with a sword!
But before that...
Manu hurriedly informs the rest of the family that troubles could be lingering around as yesterday she saw snake skin and today the poojari went missing. She was confident that both things are linked.
But obviously not everyone agrees with her..
Choti Rani makes a sarcastic comment to try and make Manu look like a fool.
"You saw snake skin yesterday but didn't tell anyone because you didn't want to scare us and yet 24 hours later, you tell us and think we'll be happy hearing it... ?"
Manu doesn't let Choti Rani's words get to her as she only wants to protect the family as that is her duty and didn't intend to scare anyone.
Bade Raja agrees with her idea of the guards searching outside the palace for the poojari while Madhav and Manu search inside.
During the search, Madhav and Manu get into a little argument of who should protect who. Madhav feels that in this Devrakshika, his Manu is still alive...
<Just look how determined our MadhVini are to protect each other...>
They keep trying to push each other behind until Manu gives up and lets Madhav pull her behind him and the two carry on with the search. However finding Takshika with the poojari's body was a hit and a miss and instead they find Anamika and Maya who distract them.
The rest of the family are confused as to why Rajkumari (Maya) is there and she lies claiming she wasn't watching her feet and slipped.
Anamika finds a chance to taunt Manu after she finds more of the poojari's beads on the floor.
"Devrakshika, your job is to protect the family but lately your mind is somewhere else..."
Manu is unable to answer her but guess who sticks up for her?
Madhav informs Anamika that Manu is only trying to do her job which is to protect the family from all troubles. Seeing this, Maya gets jealous and questions Madhav... In front of the entire family.
"Why are you sticking up for her so much? What is she to you? A Devrakshika? A saathi? A dost... Or something more?"
Manu and Madhav both recall the time they got married at the temple late in the night. To cover his hesitation, Madhav finally replies that they have a strong bond of trust from many years ago. The proof of this being all the sacrifices Manu's family made and Manu eating poisoned kheer to save his life.
<You could tell that he wanted to say that they have a relation of love. Of husband and wife>
The servant who noticed Takshika's movement without catching her finds his hands covered in blood and informs the family.
Overall, it was nice to see Madhav protect Manu and then later on stick up for her. Good to see that he's not being harsh with her anymore..
Precap: The entire family stands outside a room in which Takshika is hiding along with the poojari's body. Madhav attempts to break into the room...
