After going through the recent episode i found myself wondering as to why would kunj be so blinded by yuvi's pretence of being a kid. Coming to think of it, he should have had a doubt long back as to yuvi's intentions. Its only logical to doubt a guy who in the past has left no stones unturned to trouble you and make your life hell. And he technically did try to kill you, which should have implanted some seeds of doubt in your mind about his present actions.
After pondering over this for sometime i got dissapointed in kunj as a character, like who wouldn't? We people always want our heroes to be right all the time and seeing kunj play right into yuvi's trap left me dejected as a fan. Soon this dissapointment became kind of frustrating. Finally i decided to give it a thougght again. And when i rationalised stuff, it occured to me that kunj as a character is simply wired that way, in a sense this disappointment arose because of the difference in my idealogy as a fan and the way kunj as a character is written.
Yes he is guilty, and yes i feel he went a little overboard with it but thats just because he is simply like that. Thats who he is and probably who he has always been. He isn't ignorant to yuvi's past deeds, its just that he never thought yuvi would venture into such big level with his game. He slapped his own mother for the love of god! Who does something like that just to keep their cover intact? And this is the same guy who once used to stand up to anyone for his mother so for obvious reasons kunj can't differentiate yuvi's pretence from reality.
and trust me, i am not liking the pace of this track but to blame kunj for not realising yuvi's truth beyond a certain point becomes meaningless.
Yuvi even fooled his own mom so him keeping kunj in the dark is no big deal. Even twinkle at times gets boggled as to how yuvi can keep his composure and play along acting like a five year old. Kunj did try to find out about his illness by going to goa but since nothing was shown about it in the following episodes i have to go with the idea of nothing suspicious coming up.
And being a man of his principles kunj does sympathize with yuvi beacause no matter what you say to him, he still feels responsible. He wants to own up to his mistakes. And to him the only way to redeem himself from all this guilt of his is to make sure he is always there for yuvi. This is kunj trying to redeem himself. His character is just moulded that way. You cant do much, infact anything about it. Unless he sees it with his own eyes( which i hope happens soon enough) he won't arrive at conclusions.
