Ishitha was tensed and praying to God "murugan! Please I want this job. I have been dreaming to work for this company since my college beginning. Please help me."
She felt somebody patting her. She turned back to find her bestie shagun infront of her. She was a bit relieved on seeing her.
Shagun was wearing a short black skirt with white shirt and black jacket. She tied her hair into a pony and was chewing bubble gum.
"Chill babes. Its just an interview. Don't worry you will get the job afterall you have wonderful grades." said shagun calming ishitha.
"No yar. You know na that this job is my dream. I should qualify the interview." said ishu tensedly.
They were involved in a chat when they heard the attender calling her name Ms Ishitha Iyer. Ishu picked her files up and ran into the cabin.
There was a panel of four members who are interviewing the candidates. Ishu wished them and they said her to take her seat.
"So Ms Ishitha would you like to say something about yourself." asked a person from the panel.
"Yes sir, I'm from CBIT college. I completed my engineering in IT stream and want to work for your company. I am an easy going girl with traditional values. I'm a good student since my school days and always aspired high."
"Impressive" said an young man who looked handsome.
"So Ms Ishitha why do you want to work for this company." asked an old man.
"Nexus group of companies is one of the leading MNC in the world. The working environment is very good for the employees and one of the best companies for career growth of employees. Its my dream to work here sir."
"Excellent" said the young man with a wide smile and excitement. The other three were looking at him with surprise. He adjusted himself comfortably and extended his hand forward to Ishitha and said "I'm Abhimanyu Ragav and I'm happy to tell you that you are selected."
"Thank you sir.Thank-you so much." Ishitha was very excited and was smiling widely.
"You're welcome Miss Iyer. you may join our office on Monday." said Ragav.
"You may leave now." said the old man.
Ishitha greeted everyone once again and left the cabin.
"Mr Ragav why did you select her in just a few minutes." asked the old man.
" I was impressed" said Abhimanyu and without extending the conversation he called the attender to call Ms Shagun.
(I'm not going to write how her interview took place but somehow she managed to qualify and she was asked to join on Monday as well.)
Shagun came out running towards ishitha and both shared their happiness with each other and went back to their room.
Ishitha and shagun lived in same room of women's hostel and are best friends since their college days. Ishitha was a reserved girl while shagun was a partying girl.
On Monday they both were getting ready to join office when shagun said to Ishitha, "Babes are you going to come to office in this dress?? Grow up darling"
Ishitha wore a blue top with pink legging and pink dupatta. She tied her hair with a clip and wore minimal makeup. She looked beautiful. "Skirts and minies are not my cup of tea shagun. I'm comfortable in this dress." said ishu.
" Your wish" said shagun while applying pink lipstick. She adjusted her hair and wore a white jacket on her blue shirt with white skirt." She was looking hot.
Both entered the cab and got to their office. They were getting late so, hurried into the lift when ishitha hit a young man. His file has fallen onto the floor and he shouted "Hey woman can't u c and get in. Damit who will pick the file now." Ishitha didn't look at him and immediately bent down to pick the file. When she was handing him the file she was bowled by his personality. The young man was wearing a baby pink shirt , black pant and coat. He was wearing frameless glasses. He was looking breathtaking.
She was drooling at him when he said "hello! Madam will you please handover that file to me." Ishitha came to her senses and said "sorry" and gave him his file.
Shagun just got into the lift as she was a bit late adjusting her shoes at the gate. She saw Raman and thought " Hottt!!" She immediately forwarded her hand and said "I'm shagun. New joinee." He faked a smile and said " Raman Kumar bhalla, Regional head".
That's all for now. Thought of a short story but might take two parts. Please do let me know how it is.

Shagun just got into the lift as she was a bit late adjusting her shoes at the gate. She saw Raman and thought " Hottt!!" She immediately forwarded her hand and said "I'm shagun. New joinee." He faked a smile and said " Raman Kumar bhalla, Regional head".

Shagun and ishitha both were a bit surprised and murmured Regional Head ithni young age meh!!."Excuse me did you say anything??" asked Raman to shagun."Nothing you are very handsome" said shagun smiling."I know that" said Raman with a grin.Ishitha was staring at him continuously and with his smile her knees felt weak. She was feeling like this for the first time and she wanted that moment to stop so that she can watch his infectious smile with dimples once again. She was wondered at his dimples and wanted to touch them with her fingers.Their floor arrived and the lift door opened and Raman left from there wishing them a nice day. Ishitha was still was in his thoughts when shagun snapped at her. "Hello Babes what are you dreaming about?? Let's go."They entered the office and the attender showed them the way to Mr Raghav's cabin. They went to his cabin and Abhi was drowned in his file.Ishitha greeted him and he lifted his head in a swift as if he was craving to hear it. His face glowed with happiness. " Welcome Miss Ishitha. Your seat is waiting for you. You are looking gorgeous." replied Abhi."Sir its my first day even." said shagun."Oh!! I'm sorry Ms Aurora. Welcome to you too." said Abhi and called Mr Shergil through intercom to his cabin."Mr Shergil, she's Ms Ishitha and she is Ms Shagun. Please show them their seats and by evening they will be allotted to their respective teams." all the best you both." wished Raghav and they both left to their respective places.Raghav said to himself "I don't know why am I feeling this but ishitha seems very special to me." and rubbed his hair.Ishitha and shagun were shown their places and Ishitha's seat was next to a young man who was talking on phone turning the other side.As soon as he saw ishu he screamed in excitement. "Ishu!! you here?? Where were you all these days. No call no msg. I asked about you to all our school friends and they too said that you were not in touch with them. I missed you a lot."Ishitha couldn't believe that she saw her childhood bestie. She hugged him immediately and said "Mihir! my baby bro. I missed you too. After vacating that house we left to Delhi and from there I couldn't reach you. I'm so happy to see you again."Shagun who was looking at both of them was confused and shouted "can anyone please tell me what's going on here??"Ishitha laughed at her and said "shagun meet my bestie and my sweet brother Mihir Singh" she turned to Mihir and said " Bro she's shagun my bestie.""Hi shagun.Welcome to our office." said Mihir."Thank-you see you evening." left shagun."Now ishu tell me how are you ?? How is Amma and appa??"Ishu started crying at his question.Mihir was scared and asked "hey ishu what happened y r u crying??" ishu composed herself and said "Amma and appa died in an accident 5 years back. From then I'm staying in a hostel. I completed my engineering and since my college days shagun is my best friend."Mihir wiped her tears and said " sorry Akka. I was not there for you when you needed me the most. I promise I'll be with you in every phase of life from now onwards.""Thank you Mihir. I'm really happy that I met you again." said ishu happily."OK then let's get into work now." said Mihir and explained her the work to be done.It was evening and Mr Shergil has handed over letters to Ishitha and shagun about their teams.Ishitha was very happy and screamed "Thank-you murugan I love you. First you gave me this job and now you placed me in Raman's team."Shagun came to Ishitha and informed her that she was placed in Abhimanyu's team. She felt a bit jealous when she got to know that Ishu was placed in RKB's team.They were about to leave when Abhi came to ishu and asked her for coffee. Shagun coughed in between and said "May I accompany you both??" and winked at ishu.Ishu hit her and said of course you can. Three of them left to coffee and abhi dropped both of them at their hostel. They both changed to casuals and ishu jumped onto her bed and hugged her teddy tight.She couldn't close her eyes as she felt as if Raman was smiling at her continuously. She sat up and turned the other side to find shagun in a deep slumber.Ishu closed her eyes tight and doze of to sleep. In her dream she could only see Raman smiling and stretched his arms towards her. She ran towards him and hugged her tight.She woke up with a jerk and found herself lying on the bed and laughed at herself for such a dream. She laid back and covered herself with duvet and a wide smile.😳😳"Kabhi kabhi mere dil mein
