Why don't A-list actors get flak for underperforming films?

Hopefully this topic redeems me with some of my well-wishers. 😳 Why hasn't Aamir received flak for Talaash under performing at the box office? Even Bang Bang , Ra One , Jai Ho , HNY, and PRDP to some extent under performed at the BO . Their leads were raked over the coals . But all those movies at least crossed 100 crore if not 200 . Why didn't Aamir get criticized for Talaash not even reaching 100 crore? Hrithik's Bang Bang for not reaching 200 crore? RA 1 also crossing 200 crore? The list is endless.

There was some flak, some got plenty. Some still get it.

Happy New Year made 200 plus crore and it still considered under perform. But imagine if RK get 100 crore film, it considers blockbuster Hit film. The fact that Khans can make 200 plus and be considered below average shows why they are A list. Their movies have to make 300 or 400 to be called successful
