After being eliminated the jodis can re-enter the competition through the Wild Card round but Shakti and Shivangi Kapoor will not be coming back to Nach Baliye. The actor says that his wife's health does not permit them to head back into the competition.
"I am not going to be back on the show. But Shivangi is not yet okay. The whole point of being in Nach Baliye was Shivangi my wife… but if she is only not going to be there then it makes no sense for me to even think about it. The doctors have still told her to take complete rest. And so we won't be coming back…even through the Wild Cared entry," he says.
So is there any disappointment?
"I was very keen to get into the competition… and so yes there is some amount of disappointment. But this is life you can't do anything about it. But I have no regrets. I am glad I was there for even that short period. And now I just wish everyone remaining the very best of luck," says the ever optimistic Shakti.
Kapoor says he has been very busy since his exit from Nach Baliye. "I have literally been working round the clock. I am shooting for my films..i have quite a few films going on – there is Don Mukta Swami…then I'm doing Shirdi ke Sai Baba.. And another film with Anupam Kher called Mr. Bhatti on Chutthi for which we did a lot of filming in the UK."
Shakti Kapoor had quit the dance show in the third week of the competition itself when for the second week running he had to perform alone as his wife Shivangi's health was not permitting her to undertake the gruelling practice sessions of Nach Baliye.
