Part 7

It was night time and he was in his room, working on laptop but he was not able to concentrate on his work as the events of the day were roaming around in his head. He shut the laptop and placed it on the bed, resting his back against a bedpost, closed his eyes. A smile formed on his lips as soon as he remembered her angelic face and their meet. He was so much happy after meeting her and seeing the same feeling in her eyes for him. The very thought that whom you love whole heartedly also has feelings for you is the best feeling.

Suddenly, he opened his eyes, remembering something. He got up from bed and took out his phone from his pocket and searched HER contact. He was about to tap on call option but stopped. He wanted to talk to her but was confused and nervous that... Should he call her..? What she will think about him if he calls her at this time of night..?...already he had caught in front of her while stalking her.

"Kya karu..? Call karu yaa nahi..?" he was battling with himself while pacing in the room.

Finally he listened to his heart and decided to call her. After dialing her number he waited for her to pick up the call. With the dialing tone his heart rate was raising and after some rings finally his wait was over.

"Hello.."

The time stopped for him when he heard her sweet voice as if this voice has for only to be heard by him, the owner of this sweet voice has came on this earth only for him.

"Hello..?" she again said when she didn't hear anything from the other side.

"Taani.." finally he said softly after coming out of his dreamland. Hearing his voice her eyes went wide in shock knowing it is HIM.

"Reyaansh..?" she asked in low tone to confirm her doubt.

"Yes."

She was in her room, sitting on the bed and lost in thinking about him, a shy smile has adored her lips when the sound of door opening caught her attention. Aashi entered in her room and locked the door hurriedly, looking her she straighten herself. Aashi is her best friend and has used to be come here for sleepover and looking at her excited face she was sure that why she is here, today?

"So, tell me... how was your meet with your Romeo..?" Aashi asked her as she sat on the bed beside her. Taani looked at her with wide eyes when she mentioned him as romeo', which caused her to blush.

"Ahmm... ahmmm... someone is blushing." Aashi teased her but shut her mouth when Taani glared at her and then looked away.

"Ok fine...no teasing...now tell me na..." aashi surrendered in front of her shy best friend and again asked desperately.

"Nothing... I mean he said sorry for following me and I said it's ok then I leave from there... that's it." Taani told her genuinely whatever happened.

"That's it...aur kuch nahi hua..?" aashi asked bewildered.

"Nahi.." Taani replied confused with her sudden change of behavior.

"You SILLY GIRL... Have you gone mad or what... Tujhe itna accha chance mila tha uske sath time spent karne ka aur tu wahan se chali aayi..." aashi shouted in annoyance not knowing what she will do with her this stupid friend.

"Wo main.." Taani started to say but cut off by her phone's ring. It was from some unknown number and that too at this time but nevertheless she picked it up.

She was beyond shocked when he confirmed her doubt and the more shocking thing was she was thinking about him only, before his call. She looked at Aashi who was equally shocked. Unknowingly, her stomach clenched with nervousness.

Aashi snatched the phone from her hand and put it on speaker to hear their convo.

"Umm... I hope you didn't mind that I called you at this late." He asked her hesitated.

"No.. it's fine." She replied with nervousness.

"Okay... How are you?" he asked.

"Fine.. ummm and you.?"

"Good." He replied.

There was a silence for some moments. Both were nervous and have no idea how to continue this conversation. Other side, aashi was hearing their convo and forcing Taani to talk to him by sign language. After some time finally she asked.

"So.."

"So..?" he asked confused.

"You called..?" she reminded.

"Yeah... so..?" he again asked still confused.

"I mean... koi kaam tha apko..?" Taani asked looking at aashi who was encouraging her to talk more.

"Kaam... haan... actually... actually I... I called you to say sorry." He said whatever came into his mind.

"Sorry... for what..?" she questioned.

"For today... I mean aaj jo hua... uske liye..." he replied still guilty on his act.

"It's ok... and waise bhi aap mujhe pahle hi sorry kah chuke hai." she reminded him with smile. He tightly closed his eyes and smacked on his forehead for his stupidity.

"Yeah..!! So tum mujhse naraz nahi ho... right?" he again asked, hopefully.

"Nahi... main aapse naraz nahi hoon." She said genuinely with smile.

"Thanks..!!"

Again there was a silence prevailed between them. Both were dying to talk to each other more but nothing came into their minds. But then Rey broke that silence.

"Taani... if you don't mind... kya hum... mil sakte hai..?" he finally asked what was in his mind. There was a hope in his voice for positive answer. He waited for her reply while crossing his fingers.

Other side, Taani was shocked knowing that he wanted to meet her, though somewhere in her heart she also wanted to meet him but she was confused and nervous that.. What should she say to him? if she said NO then he will be feel bad and she doesn't wanted to make him upset... but how could she say YES... what if her Sharon di got to know about this... she was scared for hiding all this because she didn't tell her about today yet.

But before she could decide or say, aashi snatched the phone from her hand and said,

"Ofcourse she will... Taani jarur aayegi." Making Taani shocked and Rey too who was till now unaware that someone else was also hearing their talks.

"What..?" Taani literally shouted and tried to snatch away her phone from aashi's hand but she didn't let her do this.

"Hi, Aashi here." She said to clear his confusion.

"Hi, aashi." He replied hesitated.

"Taani will surely come to meet you." she said. Taani was trying to say something but before that aashi covered her mouth with her free hand to stop her.

"Are you sure... I mean ek baar usse puch lo... I don't want to force her." he spoke sincerely because making her uncomfortable or forcing her for anything was the last thing he wants to do. Hearing this, Taani's heart melts with unknown happiness that her opinion matters for him.

"Arey... don't worry... she will be okay with that... main hoon na..." she assured him.

"But.." he was still not convinced.

"But wut kuch nahi... tomorrow morning at caf which is near our college at sharp 8'o clock... it that ok with you..?" she literally ordered him in loud tone.

"Okay.." he trailed off little scared of her.

"Great... bye then." She beamed with happiness.

"Bye." He said and cut the call.

Aashi was smiling like an idiot looking at Taani. She was happy and satisfied with her idea to hook up her best friend with her handsome stalker by arranging a coffee date for them.

"Aashi, are you gone mad... Aise kaise tune haan kah di... Agar Sharon di yaa dad ko pata chal gaya to..?" Taani shouted at her after jerking her hand from her mouth. Though she knows he is really a nice guy and she likes him but it maybe a real soon to meet him and more over that she was scared because she doesn't want to disappoint her family by taking any decision in haste.

"Listen Taani, agar tu apni family ke bare me soch kar darr rahi hai to don't be... jitna main uncle ko janti hoon, unhe koi problem nahi hoga... aur rahi baat Sharon di ki to hum unhe bataenge hi nahi..." aashi said casually as if hiding this is not a big deal.

"Aashi, it's not that ki main unse darti hoon... I know di aur dad mujhse bahut pyaar karte hai, meri bahut care karte hai bas isiliye wo mere liye protective hai... but unse yeh sab chupana... and more over that main Reyaansh se sirf ek hi baar to mili hoon. I know, he is a really nice guy but fir bhi..." Taani poured out her confusion and fear in front of her friend.

"Ok.. meri ek baat ka jawab de... tu use like karti hai..?" aashi asked calmly. Taani looked thoughtful but then she nodded. "...Aur tune hi abhi kaha na ki he is a nice guy.. then what's the problem yaar...? Huh? Taani, one meeting won't harm and kya pata usse milne ke baad tera ye like Love me change ho jaye. So, go and meet him." She tried to convince Taani that she didn't have to worry about, everything will be alright.

Taani was lost in whatever aashi said. She knew he won't harm or hurt her, intentionally... and she also wanted to meet him, but the very thought to meet him was making her nervous and excited too. Thinking about him only caused butterflies flutter in her stomach then what will happen with her when she meets him.

"Ok." She agreed and smiled looking at aashi.

Then both lay down on bed to sleep after wished good night to each other but sleep was far away from Taani's eyes. Her cheeks turned red as she was thinking about him and their soon going to be meeting. An excitement building up inside her and she was actually feeling really good as if she has wings and is flying in the sky. She closed her eyes with content smile on her lips in hope that tomorrow will be the best day for her.

Here, Rey was happy but little scared too... what if she will deny meeting him. Though aashi had assured him but still there was a fear in his heart. But then pushing all negative thoughts out of his mind he hoped for a good and slept because tomorrow will be the very important day for him as he has to win her heart.
