Mandana to act in Sultan?

If sources from the industry are to be believed, then Mandana Karimi will be part of Salman-starrer Sultan. There have been several rumours about who would be playing the leading lady and actresses including Parineeti Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Kriti Sanon were approached. However, none of them were able to take up the offer due to various reasons.
There were a lot of fresh faces who were auditioned for the role too but Aditya Chopra insisted on a new name for the role. According to our source, there is now a high possibility of Bigg Boss contestant and Iranian model Mandana Karimi doing the role. "Since the makers wanted a fresh face, there is a chance they might consider Mandana for the role." The film has Salman Khan playing the role of Sultan Ali Khan " a wrestler from Haryana. Interestingly, Mandana was also described as Salman's "favourite" on Bigg Boss. Sultan will be directed by Abbas Ali Zafar.

At the Big Star Entertainment Awards that took place on Sunday, we hear that Baahubali item girl Scarlett Melish Wilson was spotted hanging around Salman Khan's vanity van for quite sometime. Scarlett was among the many performers at that awards night.
An eyewitness reveals, "Security around Salman's van was tight but the actor stepped out of his van to talk to her and the duo seemed to have an intense conversation for around 20 minutes. After that Salman excused himself and headed to Alia Bhatt's van to catch up with her. Considering the timing, and that the Sultan casting is on, one can only wonder if Scarlett was trying her luck for a role in the film."
Not too long ago, Salman had revealed on a reality show that he was really impressed with Scarlett and had asked her to do a photo shoot. After the shoot, Salman had advised her to try her hand at acting, as he thinks she deserves to be the center of attention, rather than just relegated to the background, since she was a background dancer at that time. But Scarlett was unable to act on that as she had to attend to her mother who was suffering from cancer.
