Confirmed: Its HRITHIK and SONAM for Aashiqui 3

The Aashiqui franchise has just got bigger. While the first Aashiqui film in 1990 starred two newcomers, Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal, Aashiqui 2 in 2013 brought together two strugglers Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shradha Kapoor. Ironically Aditya a star after Aashiqui 2, has been replaced by Hrithik Roshan in Aashiqui 3.

Buzz is that Aashiqui 3 will star Hrithik and Sonam Kapoor and will be directed by Amit Sharma who directed Tevar for producer Boney Kapoor. Amit also directed the well-received music video based on the Amaal Malik composition Main Rahun Ya Na Rahun featuring Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta. Hrithik and Sonam recently shot a music video together based on a song from the first Aashiqui " Dheere Dheere Se Meri Zindagi Mein Aana. Those involved with the project were sure the duo looked good enough together to do a feature film.
