I know that Karthik's smart so he assesses the situation before jumping in. In yesterday's epi he walked calmly to the scene, but afterwards he beat up those goons pretty badly. But in the precap he was just standing there. However it was the precap so we can't be sure...I don't want to judge Karthik in his actions (or lack of thereof), especially in regards to Survi, but I'm not quite sure what to think anymore. I know that Karthik's 'the male lead of an Indian soap' but I feel like for me, he's actually quite unpredictable. One moment he's hugging Survi the other he's shouting at her. One moment he's talking about how much he hates her the other he's getting lost in her eyes

Therein it was mentioned that Survi is trying to stop Kartik from getting on the bridge

So yeah maybe she wanted to make sure it was safe before she could let Kartik go & also Kartik is hurt pretty bad so...
