Armaan calls it "Cat and mouse game" and enjoys mocking her in the most ghatiya ways. He's humiliated in her so many ways, and relishes it.
Why?
She slapped him.
1st when he gatecrashed her Blue moon ritual , and wished her husband dead.
2nd when he was trying to rescue her from dying.
A slap is not a mere thing. An adult slap is a highly humiliating thing !! Seriously. The slapped is hugely mortified whether there was audience or not. The mere act of forcibly hitting another's cheek, resulting in a forced left/right neck flexion, with an added sound effect.
It may give rise to whiplash injuries and activate narcissistic personality disorders.
Let's consider the story so far...
Armaan came in as the long lost elder son on Khan Begum. Mystical properties of a 7 fingered hand was the puzzle piece to complete the jigsaw that was Mahira's infinity mark.
"The 7 fingered man must unite with the girl with the Mark, and Khan Begum's powers shall return..."
I think we can agree that this one QH prophecy , no one wants to come true.
So we watch a couple fight and fall in love , and cringe when they unite, because that's when all disaster will break loose !?
SO Armaan forcefully takes over Khan House and makes it his, and Mahira stays on to claim her rights to it as a wife.
He disliked her, wanted her out, but was disdainful. Uncaring. Blah.
Then She fell into a coma. How again I forget...
Then he starts worrying for her, wondering if she was okay. Wishing for her health and survival.
Softening... mild concern. Confused, but present nonetheless.
Then she wakes us and slaps him.
Did I mention he HATES being slapped? H A T E S !
How dare a girl get under my skin? Make me like her and worry about her, and the SLAP me !!
I'll teach her a lesson... !!!!
Yes, guys. This dude is having a huge temper tantrum and Mahira is the recipient...
Dare I say, she is enabling him. She is indulgently, patiently , trying to motherly teach the brat how to respect women.
