Ram is the main character of the Hindu epic Ramayana..there are several Beliefs regarding this epic however Ram is whom Hindus consider God on the basis of The Ramayana. It will be too long for me to explain the entire story ..it would be great if you could look on the internet and glance through a basic story of Ramayana. Its actually really intresting and major Hindu festivals like Diwali Dussehra( which happens to be today) are all based on this Epic Ramayana. Infact it forms the basis of our religion i would say.
