Actor Ravi Dubey is taking inspiration from Govinda to play a mechanic's role in Jamai Raja. The current track shows a car mechanic, who's a lookalike of the male protagonist, stepping into the latter's shoes after his death. Ravi has been putting in special effort so that he looks the part. "Currently, many shows are having this track where they have lookalikes of the main characters. I wanted to ensure that even though it's the same person playing the two parts, he looks different while playing the two characters. I've always been a huge Govinda fan, and for this role, I'm taking some inspiration from him. In his film Bade Miyan, Chhote Miyan, he played two roles - one a thug and the other a cop - but he looked different," Ravi said. Ravi has even brought in a slight UP accent to the character and even chewed paan for the role, even though he doesn't eat paan in real life.

His efforts could actually be seen on screen, the character Raghu has been portrayed really well and with great distinction from Sid.. So, kudoos to him👍🏼

I know everyone likes Ravi as sid and raghu etc... I felt many times he acts, talks and behaves more like Dev Anand and not really Govinda. Also, his portrayal as Raghu is a bit on the irritating side. He could tone down his acting a bit and make his character more tolerable. This is all JMHO and I don't expect anyone to agree with me.
