Even though I dislike his off screen personality but can't deny the fact that he is one of the best actors of this gen...hope things work out for him..

Really...what about Aamir or even non-mainstream actors like Irfan???

He is not great at romance and comedy IMO...would put Aamir ahead of him for sure and even SRK when he bothers to act and not ham lazily.

To be fair to them, I have never heard anyone praising him as the 'finest' actor...Yes, he is a fine entertainer...but acting is totally a different deal and not everyone can be called a fine actor...

He's far from being complete actor let alone being finest... Hirani is making DUTT staring Ranbir and Ranbir is close to Imtiaz so nothing there.

Ranbir is limited actor at best he needs to do different types of roles.

Ranbir is better actor than many new commers but he is still behind even Hrithik IMO.

to me Irrfan adn Manoj Bajpai are what you can call finest actors.

He is, nothing to disagree there. He is superb in part goofy part intense sort of roles.

Of course he is not THE finest actor among all, he isn't versatile as of now.
