Why this movie flopped?

The name is Phir bhi dil hai hindustani. I feel its one of the most under-rated movies ever. It was surely ahead of its time. It had perfect mix of comedy, romance, thrill, action and such a hard hitting issue. Rather so many sensitive issues like misuse of media, the misuse of power by politicians and how they spread communal tension for their benefit.To add, all the stars gave terrific performances. I think its one of the best movies of srk.

Ya .. I liked it too. Specially the songs and the way in which the title song was picturized. This was SRK's first film as a producer, he went all out to market it and we all know how good he is at marketing a film. He actually maybe started this current marketing wars of the film. He came up with these ideas and the film was alright-ish too. I didn't find it bad enough to be a flop. It had comedy, romance, a good story and a nice ending .. and the SRK and Juhi themselves.

I loved that movie! Aur Kya was such a cute song.

All the Diwale songs combined can't match the richness of this one song.

Childhood memories.I was obsessed with this movie❤️

SRK-Juhi were on another level. I loved Yess Boss. Kajol-SRK are good but I don't see anything worth mentioning in Diwale and MNIK just plain sucked.

I liked this movie. I also been wondering why Dil Se flopped too.

Totally right .. Dil Se had such a good story and both Priety and Manisha were good for their parts and looked so pretty. SRK was a dream at that point .. doing all kinds of good films with people like Mani Ratnam. He has reduced himself to garbage now and looks really awfully bad too.
