Hi guys

I know the topic might seem weird but the situation is worse than it seems to be. The floods in chennai have caused great destruction and a few people till now are given a helping hand. Some of the members of this forum are from chennai and belong to the south. Some also have their beloved ones stuck out there. I pray for the people in chennai who are becoming the victims of the natural calamity. I hope everyone is safe and sound. I remember only one of my friend from this forum that is shiny who is currently living in chennai. Many of u might know her from her excellent writing. I hope she is safe.

My heart pours out for the victims.

I have made this post to plz pray for the safety of all the people suffering.

It is a very nice and thoughtful initiative Kavika..
The situation is really quite serious..
when i last asked Shiny about situation her reply was so negative..
we all are praying for people in Chennai..
I know our armed forces are there for helping out people.. i am glad that they are always there for us
I pray that may god gives lot of strenth to our beloved citizens over there

Yes... The condition in Chennai is not okay😭

And each and everyday I am praying here for my friend Shiny and for other people also...

I hope Everything will be fine and even better in Chennai so soon until then I will Prayer n prayer for them and for Shiny...😊

Kavika !!!
I have no words to express my gratitude to you and everyone els !! You defined friendship - "A friend in need is a friend indeed!!!
Each prayer that you guys send acts as a ladder for us... We are hit bad and its like a never ending crisis!!! The rains are stopping... The water is draining.. Our hopes go high.. And again all of a sudden everything hits rock bottom.. The flood starts again

I saw that u had sent me a PM but I am not able to open any PMs ... And its after about 20 mins am I seeing this page... I don't know if this reply will reach you... For 4 days straight all the networks had crashed... Now the networks are coming up but its not strong...
My family is safe.. We are in our home stuck up and trying to push the days with the limited resources we have !!
But there are many who are homeless right now.. And its really heart wreaking...
Each day I used to give myself hope that tomorrow everything is going to be fine... But yesterday there came an alert that another dam was going to break... And things are going to get more worse... And that was it... I was in tears and the only thing I kept repeating was " Shiny Gives up" ...
But my parents knew that I was getting to dramatic and my sis managed to bring back a smile on my face...and today we came to know that the news of the dam breaking was a rumour... Thank GOd ;!
I have hope left !! I wont give up !!

But I just wish GOD shows some mercy to us !!

We all have our limits isn't it ??

its a well needed post

for all those in Chennai and the flood affected areas

all I wanna say is our best wishes , our best hope and most importantly our prayers are there for u all

don't think u are alone coz we are there and we ll always be there
