Sometimes some small problems spells the doom for happy families. Just like what happened between kaikeyi and Dasarath today. Kaikeyi as a good wife should have understood her husband's condition and should have given him space. Instead she tries to distract him with sweet talks. Dasarath doesn't understand his wife's intentions and unintentionally ignores her because of his worry and need to know the status of his daughter. Result mandira words did in road to kaikeyi mind.
