Okay, some people find this thing really touching but for me it sometimes becomes annoying, and irritates me a lot.I mean like is death a joke for authors or what..they seem to have nothing to write maybe?Every other book I have been reading nowadays,is like "I have cancer" "He died of Cancer" and now I feel like saying, get a life, they need to,I don't like things which are having even a bit of cancer.I mean like Fault in our stars was all cancer, and stuff.P.s.I love you,Gerry died because of Cancer.A walk to remember,Jamie died because of Cancer again.I understand deaths, but cancer everytime, pisses me off.

For heaven's sake I hate books which relate to death in any way.I know there are many books which have cancer syndrome but when you read these three books in a row (not actually,i read FIOS in the years' beginning) then you get mad,at least I do.If I hurt someone's feelings, then I truly apologize, but the point is I can't tolerate these things, honestly.

Can someone recommend me books which don't relate to death and are young adults.
Btw,is 'The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks' also something like that?

Love Always,
Rhea

Today death seems a fashion among many YA authors. It's not a joke but a more comfortable plot for them, I guess. If I Stay is a novel you have to read, the theme is death but it's handled the most beautiful way. I'll go to the extent of telling you that the girl or the boy doesn't die in that one. It's sequel Where She Went is one of my all time favs.

Notebook is more about memory loss than death. The girl and boy do die but only when they are old.

Just One Day, it's sequel Just One Year are YA books which don't relate to death.

Eleanor and Park is another YA book which I loved.

Ok,thanks for commenting, and what you said is really true,it has indeed became a fashion :(
Um,talking about the notebook by sparks,i was planning to get it,but is it a spoiler that they die?I am also planning to read Elanor and Park because it had some really great reviews on goodreads.I think 'thirteen reasons why' is also related to death and blah blah...thus i am not buying it :)At least currently...Thank you for recommending me 'Just one day' ,coz i really needed some books where the leads don't die.Have you read 'Selection' ? I wanna read that, but I don't want it to be another disney princess sort of thing, neither i want it to be mature, but it looks exciting..

Even I don't like when death happens that too main character die. The fault in our stars was good btw <3 I don't like reading romantic stories much. Have you read Your dreams are mine now of Ravinder Singh? I don't read India authors books and this is the first Indian author book I'm reading. It's got the worst ending :@

You're welcome ๐Ÿ˜Š
I'll let you know about more books like Just One Day once I can remember them. ๐Ÿ˜†
I haven't read selection, I'll check that one out. In Notebook they die when they are old after having kids and grandkids.

13 reasons why is also about death, suicide to be more precise, so you might wanna stay away from it.

You definately need break from such books, you sound pretty annoyed.

Try these books,

Fangirl

Truth about forever
&
Along for the ride, by sarah dessen

Amy and Roger's epic detour

Though all of them have 'death' in them but more like side plots. :)

The Truth about forever is a good read. I'm yet to read Along for the ride, Fangirl and Amy and Roger's epic detour.

These are some YA books which are not about death, includes the ones I've read and the ones I'm about to read.

Nick and Nora's infinite playlist. [Must read]
Paper Towns [ John Green, No one dies here]
An Abundance of Katherines [ Again John Green, but no one dies]
Anna and The French Kiss by S.Perkins
Isla and the happily ever after by Perkins
All Sarah Dessen books. [ Just Listen, Lock and Key...]
Deb Caletti books.
To All the Boys I Loved Before by Jenny Han
What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen
Two-Way Street by Lauren Barnholdt
Beastly by Alex Flinn. [Remember Beauty and the Beast? This is a modern version which I liked]
There You'll Find Me by Jenny B. Jones

Above them all, Where She Went tops my list. But you need to read the prequel If I Stay first.

@alohomora:No I haven't read it yet,but i don't plan to read it either.Indian authors, don't write well,i mean I just know Chetan Bhagat, who has one of the best selling books in India, and still I dislike that guy,for writing such books.I read two states. It was okay, ofc it had humour(bit off),and i could enjoy it many times, but after reading something written by american authors,I can't continue reading CB's books, and I can't even try reading the books by Indian authors. But you seem to be a great HP fan :)
(I am currently trying Half Girlfriend, recommended by my friend, and that is like,so wdcbjsb)

@destinyrose:Um,okay,but I won't be reading it right now because it's kinda mature for me,and i don't read books which include adult romance,I just don't like it even if they are 'really' good, like fsog, never even thought of reading that after i got to know about the mature content in the trilogy.I knew about Jay Asher's best selling novel, and that is why i did not even try to get a review of it properly.

@mscarefree444:You got it right,I am totally sick of these books including cancer or any type of disease,or no,deaths.Fangirl is already on my list, and even if it includes side deaths i won't be resisting myself from reading it.Though, thanks for your recommendations :D

@destinyrose:You've really good choices,i must read them all,and I already have John Green's Paper Towns, just getting a bit ready to read it :P Almost all the books, which you've recommended are on my reading list, but a few were not,I really like John Green's books, and I will definitely read that (AOK):D Thanks a ton for such a great list.

@celestial:Same here,no doubt in that fact. After I read a walk to remember,i was literally crying,i couldn't get if it made sense or not,but still,i need somethings brighter to read xP

Love Always,
Rhea :*

Hallelujah finally someone says it out in the open.!!
I am so sick of people using cancer as a comfortable plot line just to bring intensity and drama into their stories. If you have writing provess you dont need such serious diseases or killing off the leads to get the drama quotient in. *sighs* hope this new FAD of the authors goes away quickly and we go back to more meaningful and impactful plot lines.

All the other books of ahern apart from P.S are good. And they kinda fall into the YA genre as well. I dont understand how an authors most bad becomes always ends up becoming the most famous ๐Ÿ˜† I've loved all her books except P.S. Try 100 names and where rainbows end.

Can you keep a secret and I've got your number are good too. Also like desto suggested if i stay and where she went are must reads <333

I'll think of some more. Or else you can check out the book club for our complete list ๐Ÿ˜†
