With NO ENTRY emerging the biggest hit of the year, there's talk that the Kapoor brothers -- Boney and Anil -- have decided to make a sequel of this rib-tickling comedy next. That's not all! A sequel to the immensely enjoyable MR. INDIA, produced by Boney and starring Anil in the title role, is also on the cards. That makes it two sequels! "Yes, we are working out the possibilities of the two sequels," Anil Kapoor enlightens me, "But it all depends on how the scripts shape up. The ideas are still in the infancy stages, but we'll take a decision on whether or not to make the sequels after we hear out the screenplay." Rumors are rife that the sequel to NO ENTRY is expected to star Anil and Salman, while a new character will be introduced in place of Fardeen. On the other hand, the sequel to MR. INDIA will star a host of new names, with Anil heading the cast obviously. "We're testing waters right now. Let's not forget that the sequel has to be far more exciting than the original, only then will it catch the fancy of moviegoers. If we aren't satisfied with the concepts, we'll drop them pronto," the talented actor adds. Meanwhile, NO ENTRY associate producer Rajat Rawail has denied that the sequel will revolve around three characters -- a deaf [Anil], a dumb [Salman] and a blind man [the actor is undecided] -- who fall in love with the same girl. "Rubbish! Who spreads such junk? The basic idea of the sequel is entirely different," he sounds amused. |
