Breaking News: Deadly Mass Shooting in Southern California

I don't know if anyone has heard this news, but wanted to post on IF. If the mods need to move this topic, that is fine. 14 people were dead, nearly 17 injured in a deadly mass shooting. It happened in a local center for the disabled in San Bernardino, California. This is near where I live and is being noted as an act of "domestic terrorism." If anyone wants to post their thoughts for the families affected, please do so. What a day, the news channels are covering it all evening.

OMG I heard about it too. They are saying this is the deadliest mass shooting in the US since Sandy Hook. I can't imagine what the families of the fourteen disabled people must be going through. May God give them strength and may the deceased rest in peace.

It's so sad what the world has come to. :(

On a side note: I think one of the reasons US has such high rates of mass shootings (not just this but also multiple shootings on school/college campuses and etc) is because guns are so easily available over here in the name of 'self-defense.' We really need stricter gun laws.
