Rimi needed being harshly chatised for her behaviour as Salman was making her realize the repurcussions of her attitude.
He was initially making her see reality of her behaviour more rationally. When an individual just does not get it, then they have to be given bitter medicine.

Sad to see Rimi go but she asked for it!

She will get work despite her BB stint. I like her as an actress.
