well, she is being brainwashed by her MIL for 25 years already. Now, her MIL is brainwashing her against Riya and she continues to believe shanti. although she wanted to speak to raghav, she couldn't go against the person whom she considers her mother, for whom she bathed herself with ice water despite being sick. her MIL did show concern but that was to brainwash against riya. even in today's episode, shanti tries to brainwash kaushalya but when riya comes, she tries to support her instead of her DIL.

Its something i have seen happen many times before - people who are bullied/ repressed lash out by bullying those who are weaker than them rather than standing up to the original abuser


Kaushalya has no difficulty in talking rudely to riya ... Yet she does not have the guts to answer back to shanti or sarla even

Did you not know that Shrivastavs were created in a science lab as an experiment that went terribly wrong? Cowsalya was the lab technician incharge who accidently fell into the giant test tub and got doubly contaminated. These people have no logic or common sense because their brain compartment has batteries filled with Cowsalya's bengan bartha. Riya is better off locking them up in that same lab where they can be kept away from the normal world. If she badly wants Shivam, she can replace his batteries and keep him on a leash as her hubby toy
