Almost all contestants play the BB game in a certain set manner and dis manner has become the norm. But Rimi changed it all. Even now ppl can only speculate whether she was playing the game or she wasn't. Abt the supposed claim that BB exposed her when she didn't walk out, sounds as hollow as everyone claiming that Rimi didn't deserve to be in the house, when in fact technically she did as she was always among the top voted contestant, especially taking into consideration that she was nominated every week that she was in the house.
Since day 1 Rimi said that she wanted to leave the house and as a housemate she did everything possible to 1) make sure she got nominated and 2) to avoid footage and as tasks r generally done to win brownie points with audience, she did dem to the required minimal. Her first idea worked as housemates were only too eager to help' her, but unfortunately her 2nd plan didn't.
Though she hardly gave footage and she used to get just a few minutes of screen space in each episodes, that proved enough to catch attention of audience and as she was such a different and funny person, her fans grew and she ended up being safe from eviction.
The final decision of deserving/ undeserving' lies in the hands of the audience and by voting for her in large numbers they gave their verdict of her being a deserving' housemate. So those saying she was undeserving are also insulting the show (as that's d shows format) and the audience. Just wanting to stay in the show does not make a housemate deserving. All these seasons every housemate who came to BB wanted to stay in d show, but Rimi didn't, but still ppl liked her, so she deserved to stay.
Also she made it very clear that she wanted to leave the show, but also categorically said that not at the expense of paying the penalty. This was fair enough. Still BB tried every dirty trick in the book to force her to leave. When she didn't BB used the dirtiest trick I have come across and did what they had never ever done before and opened the door supposedly asking housemates, but obviously asking Rimi to leave. It amounted to the same thing - voluntary exit and Rimi had already refused that. So what was the point of doing this, other than to use it to humiliate her, before evicting her?
Anyways I am just happy dat Rimi left the way she wanted and managed to shake team BB to such an extent that they stooped so low to humiliate her, but she refused to give them the satisfaction of seeing her break down.
I would have said well played Rimi (but I know she wasn't playing), so well done Rimi!👏👏👏
