zindagi started with the theme of showing foreign shows...the good thing about pakistani shows is that they r limited no. of episodes...they shoot in real locations also there sets go with the setting of the show...the actors dress naturally...they speak with such grace...the dialogs the expressions r beyond perfect ...that is y they have attracted so many ppl worldwide n also in india...serials like ZGH humsafar maat have raised the bar for indian shows...many of my friends watch just indian shows...there r many ppl who cant afford to see shows online as u know they require internet connection which many ppl dot have but television is mass media...tv n internet cant be compared..tv reaches to a wider no. of ppl than the net...

No harm in zindagi showing Indian shows as long as they are finite and have good content. Before Ekta's formula streak, there used to be great shows on Indian channels

Moreover, not all Pak shows being aired on Zindagi are good. Many have stories that seem repetitive with nothing fresh in them and are quite boring and not worth the time.

Infact, instead of focusing on Pak shows only, wld like Zindagi to telecast more shows from Turkey, Korea etc in addition to airing some good finite Indian shows

Those who are obsessed with only Pak shows can watch them online instead of calling names to Zindagi and the Indian shows that they are planning to air. That's in such bad taste. Also, frankly, this reaction is quite juvenile and silly. Channel is going this route coz it's not getting revenues this way and to keep itself afloat it has to diversify. No offense, but they are not going to change a purely business decision based on some repetitive obsessive tweets from a small bunch :))

For ur info the reaction from the viwers has been MASSIVE

if u check fb its FLOODED with requests not to air hindi shows as its exclusively for pak

N coming to watching online ...even hindi shows episode are also available online

But watching drama with family on tv has a different attraction altogether which cwnt be fulfilled by watching online

AND NO ONE IS DEGRADING HINDI SHOWS even on fb everyone is asking not to mk it a typical chqnnel n ruin its uniqueness as there r zillion other channels airing indian soaps bk to bk

So its not as if only a few handful members of this forum is protesting

Zee zindagi caters to a niche audience the exact same way zee cafe caters to those who watch english shows

So whats wrong if we r protesting n asking them to stick to its originality

And i dont even mind ektas shows ...i hv been a fan a lot if ektas shows as well

But our req is air them in other hindi channels and keep zindagi for pqk content

No one is calling the channel any names nor doing nything in bad taste

On the contrary the chqnnel is leaving a bad taste in the viwers mouth
