A burning candle fell on Mona's face while shooting a crucial scene
Popular television actress Mona Singh of Jassi Jaissi Koi Nai fame suffered injuries while shooting for a romantic scene for a latest episode with Iqbal Khan. The room was decorated with candles and as per the scene, Mona's character had to start blowing out the candles in the state of anger but unfortunately a burning candle placed at a height fell on her face which burnt her skin.
A source present on the sets revealed, "Mona was quite shocked with the incident and got a red patch on her face. A doctor was called immediately on the set and the shooting came to a halt for some time. But being the professional that Mona is, she didn't want the shoot to halt and she continued shooting."
Mona confirmed the news by saying, "It was one of the most crucial scenes and quite an emotional one to pull off. Thankfully, it was not a severe injury." We wish Mona a speedy recovery!
